“We had a great time. The cabin was great (Joshua). It was clean and ready before we even arrived. It was roomy and had everything that we needed.

Everyone that I talked to was very helpful and welcoming.

The express check-in/out was great and very convenient. We got there a little later in the afternoon than we planned, but was able to go straight to the cabin and unload, which was very convenient.

Thank you so much. We are hoping to come back another time and would like to try to stay in another one of your cabins.”

- S. Tharpe in Joshua, 08/29/2010

“We stayed in the Little Log Castle, and our stay was wonderful, the cabin was as lovely as the pictures , the weather was perfect, we were right in the middle of everything, very convenient to the surrounding attractions ,we will come back and and have already recommended to our friends. We are considered locals we live approx. 60 miles away, and this proved to be a great getaway. Looking forward to planing
another getaway. The staff at Baskins Creek was wonderful the nicest ladies I have had the pleasure to work with.”

- J. Winter in Little Log Castle, 08/26/2010

“My family and I recently stayed at the Lumber Jack Rack Cabin. We loved it. Very nice place and the check in and check out was so easy and accommodating! Will definitely be staying here again!

Thanks so much!”

- Amanda G. in Lumberjack Rack Log Cabin, 08/26/2010

“We stayed Aug 7 - 14th and best thing about the cabin was the pool table and the 102 inch TV screen we used the most , disliked the walk to the pool but we drove up and down the hills. but in all a very nice cabin for the money well stay here again or maybe another one of your cabins. would like to see an information book and a list of kitchen items.

Thanks again”

“My family had a wonderful stay at the Foxes Den. It was a perfect spot and size. It was clean and we enjoyed a close pool access. We loved the amenities pass. We loved the shows and my son had fun in the Flyaway indoor skydiving and Lazar tag. We also enjoyed the free movie rentals and the convenient location of the rentals. The price was perfect. Thanks for an enjoyable affordable vacation. I would like to see maybe a restaurant pass on fun pass. Thanks”

- The Bennett Family in Foxes Den, 08/08/2010

“We had a wonderful time at our cabin during our vacation. The cabin was perfect for our family and our daughter's family. We all had separate space as well as group space. It kitchen was supplied with everything we needed and we were able to cook breakfast and a couple of other meals to help cut down on our expenses. The view was beautiful and the cabin was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed it so much. The amenity we used was the Five Oaks Riding Stable. The men and a couple of grand kids went riding. Grandpa had been promising his granddaughter to take her riding. They had a wonderful time and the horses were very obedient and gentle. We plan to come back and Basking Creek will definitely be a part of our plans. We stayed at the Whispering Pines Cabin. I would rate this cabin five stars out of five.”

- Martha C. in Whispering Pines, 08/07/2010

“Our recent stay at your “Peace of Mind” cabin was wonderful. We booked the cabin because our son and his family took advantage of the 5 night/50% off deal and so we did too. The cabin was delightful and we did take advantage of the fun pass using it on Bent Creek golf and Smith Family. We really appreciated the great deal and I know our son’s family did as well. We visit Gatlinburg 2 or 3 times each year and we always stay at your cabins. We truly appreciate the specials that you have during various seasons of the year. We will be doing our usual Christmas trip the beginning of December and hope to stay with you again.”

- Rhonda and Dennis B. in Peace of Mind, 08/05/2010

“My fiance and I came to the Smokey Mts to get married and honeymoon in Sweet Temptations cabin. It superseded our expectations; everything was perfect! We are making plans to return for our anniversary and hope to stay in the same cabin! Thank you Baskins Creek for a wonderful and unforgettable experience!”

- John and Erin H. in Sweet Temptation, 08/03/2010

“We stayed in the Wild, Wild, West cabin last week & absolutely loved it! It was very clean & was above our expectations - looked every bit as nice or nicer than the pictures! We would definitely come back!”

- Jim & Rosemary B. in Wild West, 08/02/2010

“We stayed 3 nights in High Hopes and we were happy with our accommodations. Everything seemed clean and neat and the directions were good! The only recommendation we have is to provide a few more towels. We were never at the cabin long enough to do any laundry...

Thank You,”

- Stephanie Z. in High Hopes, 08/02/2010

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Satin and Lace Cabin in Gatlinburg (from the evening of July 25 to Friday, July 30th). It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary! We were so impressed with the cabin (i.e. the hot tub, jacuzzi, and the availability of kitchen and use of washer/dryer). It afffording us some privacy and many relaxing moments and yet was very close to Gaitlinburg or just a few miles from the National Park or Pigeon Forge. We would definitely think about staying again and are seriously considering making reservations for next year. Thank you, so much, for the beautiful cabin and helping us to have a wonderful vacation!”

- Dave and Debbie P. in Satin & Lace, 08/01/2010

“Our stay in Gatlinburg was wonderful for my husband and I. We loved the little cabin feel yet were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go without getting into the car.”

- Christina M. in Miss Jewel's, 07/30/2010

“This was the 6th annual Kelly reunion. Gatlinburg was a great location. We had members from IL, NY, KY, FL, and AL. The cabin was great. The kids loved the game room. It was great having everyone in the same house. The only negative was the traffic. The accommodations were great. We will call you the next time we plan to stay in Smokies.”

- R. Kelly in Reid's Resort, 07/28/2010

“We felt like we made a reservation in the dark and we all were a bit nervous. But as soon as we opened the door to big bear cabin we saw the LIGHT!! That place was awesome we had a wonderful vacation. It was our 1st trip with our baby and she ran around in her walker as happy as can be. The only suggestion is to cover your outlets and hanging cords (wi-fi) they arent child friendly and it would have been awesome to have some place to sit on the back deck we respected your request not to take furniture out the house. Other than that look for our names to pop up next year. :) The family that decided not to come on the trip saw our video and has kicked themselves and want in next time.
See u soon.

“We just returned home from our stay with Baskins Creek. As always, our cabin was great! We love getting away to the mountains.

The only trouble I ran into was confusion on using the pool. Two different people told me that we had pool access in our Waldens Creek area. One person said we would not need a pass, another one said that we would. When we stopped by the Ogle Dr. office, we were told that the only pool we could use was the one in Brookstone Village. That was fine, it was just further away from our cabin than I originally thought or hoped.

We LOVED the FunPass. We did things that we would normally not have done or did them more often because of the fun pass. We rode go-carts everyday and used the movie rental almost every evening. If we had been down with more of our family we would have utilized the other features even more.

Our family comes to Pigeon Forge at least twice a year. We would love to see this fun pass idea stay and the amenities change with the seasons.

Thanks for a great vacation!”

- S. Beam in Joy Log Cabin, 07/26/2010

“My family and I returned from our vacation on Saturday. We had a wonderful time! The house was absolutely beautiful, and the view of the mountains was just as awesome. The house came very well equipped for a large group like ours. The game room is a great addition. The only suggestions I have are to get a gas grill (we really struggled with the charcoal grill), and to replace the silverware with something more durable. Again, thanks so much!”

- A. Hickling in Bears Crossing, 07/26/2010

“We had a great time in TN, and it was a very nice cozy cabin...at "cozy country"

We went to USA Raft ~ did upper pigeon...was pretty slow, I couldn't imagine doing lower pigeon unless I was tubing!! We did have a great time though!!”

- C. Hebert in Cozy Country, 07/26/2010

“Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Angel's Landing was a great house and I will definitely be back.”

- J. Collins in Angel's Landing, 07/26/2010

“Baskin Rentals,

We had a fabulous stay at this location. This was our annual Lipman Brothers Gal's getaway, along with one of the employees 60th birthday. We hope that we've found our perfect spot for each year, however we noticed a For Sale sign on the property that really bummed us out. This happened to us when we had finally found the last perfect spot, Cinderella's Castle. That property owner foreclosed. We hope if the property sales it will remain a rental with Baskins Creek. On another note, it took us approx 25-minutes to get the door code to finally open. Also the alarm code we received on Friday afternoon was not correct as well. We received a call from the Sheriff's department. So needless to say we were unable to reset the pass code. Didn't have to use the gate code since it was already opened. Didn't want to take the chance of closing it and the code not working. Otherwise the stay was very calming and relaxing. We stayed at the pool the whole time. We cleaned the house up really well. Took all the trash out and all towels were put in the laundry room. Thank you all so much for a great visit.

Hope to be back next year,”

- J. Westmoreland-Pruitt in Shenandoah, 07/26/2010

“We stayed from 7-15-10 to 7-18-10 in chris's smokey mountain cabin and the only think we found was a broken can opener but every thing else about the cabin was rt on. It was very quiet and it was very hot that weekend but the air maid it very comfortable and the rooms were clean. I look forward to getting offers from Baskins Creek rentals so we can go back this fall.”

- M. Cook in Chris's Smoky Mountain Cabin, 07/25/2010

“The family had a fun time in the cabin. Nice cabin for disabled renters. Problems were quickly fixed when I called management. One thing that would make the cabin more enjoyable would be to add more rockers on the front porch.”

- S. Byrd in Big Bear Cabin, 07/19/2010

“My family and I had a great time in the Bears Crossing cabin. We liked the fact that it was 4 stories and had 1 or 2 bedrooms on each floor and a different purpose to each floor. The bedrooms were nice in size and decor. The game room and the "theater" room were very functional and fun to be in.

My only "constructive" comment regarding the game room was that the paddles and "pucks" were worn out and should be updated.

I appreciated that ability to access the swimming pool.

The only other "constructive" comment relates to the parking. We were only able to place 4 - 5 vehicles in the driveway area. All other vehicles had to be parked in the parking lot of the swimming pool. It would have been nice to have known this prior to getting there so that we could have planned appropriately. Fortunately for us, no one made a stink about people parking overnight in the parking lot at the swimming pool.

Overall, we had a magnificent visit.

P.S. The woman at the office was very pleasant and fun to talk to. She was very helpful and cordial with all questions that I had. She represented by home state of Ohio very well.”

- J. Jackson in Bears Crossing, 07/19/2010

“I had a wonderful stay at the Nestle Inn! The accommodations were fine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My unit #110 was small, but it was all I really needed. I really enjoyed the pool and the convenience of being a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg. I was thrilled with the Fun Pass program, as I enjoyed 4 free rounds of golf at Bent Creek.

A special thanks goes out to your staff who alerted me that as a repeat guest I was entitled to a 10% discount--- even if it was 6 or 7 years ago! Next time I return to Gatlinburg I will definitely be staying at the Nestle Inn.
Thanks so much!”

- P. Yager in M110, 07/18/2010

“We enjoyed the whole stay the staff was wonderful. we plain to return as soon as we can”

- S. Burrell in T303, 07/18/2010

“We just got back from our stay at the Mirage. It was wonderful. We were able to stay with family that we haven't seen in about 5 years. It was such a wonderful meeting place and the cabin had everything that we needed to make the stay comfortable. When we arrived at the cabin it was clean and ready to go! The last vacation that we rented a condo, we actually had to clean the condo before we felt comfortable enough to stay there. Thank you for making it such a great vacation spot for us!”

- J. Roeder in Mirage Log Cabin, 07/18/2010

“My family enjoyed our stay at your property. The chalet was very nice with plenty of space except for the bathrooms. The mountain view was gorgeous! Your staff was very courteousl. We usualy vacation in Florida and it has been about 10 years since we were in the Smoky's. A friend recommended your company and I called three times before actually booking a cabin and then called back to change to another larger one. Each person I spoke with was very nice and helpful. When we travel back to Gatlinburg, we definitely will use your service again.”

- S. Williams in Le Rendezvous, 07/15/2010

“Hello, this is Byron & LaSondra. We absolutely loved your Vacation Cabin!!! We will definitely recommend the Cabin to others planning on visiting the area or will love to stay there again on future vacations. The things that my family loved the most were the Hot Tub and the Pool Table. The beds were very comfortable as well as the jacuzzi. Unfortunately we didn't get to participate in the fun passes that you all offered us because we only had two days there and we just shopped at the outlets, ate out, and RELAXED in the LOVELY Cabin. It was only our family of four and everyone had their own areas but enjoyed spending time downstairs together in the Hot Tub or on the Pool Table. With your cabin, there is absolutely nothing that I would want you all to change. It was very clean, spacious, and offered my family a wonderful and memorable vacation. Thanks again and on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being excellent), I give you all a 10 or an A+. Thanks,”

- Byron & LaSondra G. in As Good As It Gets, 07/10/2010

“We REALLY enjoyed our stay at the Foxes Den!! Upon arrival the rooms were VERY clean, the kitchen, bathrooms, living area, etc. very clean also..... The screened porch area with the patio set was VERY nice (I told my husband I had a new project for him!). Thank you SO much for a "Great" family vacation!!!!!!!”

- S. Mullins in Foxes Den, 07/09/2010

“We were so pleased with the Wild West lodging. We have visited Gatlinburg and even got married there and Wild West was the nicest cabin we have stayed in. Thanks for your service and hospitality!”

- M. Ruskin in Wild West, 07/06/2010

“Just want to say a HUGE thank you for our wonderful stay. Our cabin (Whispering Pines) was perfect for us - clean, beautiful views, and had everything we needed and in working order! A family down the lane staying in a different cabin managed by a different company had nothing but trouble with their cabin. We said a number of times how lucky we were to be working with a management company that seemed to care that their guests were happy and satisfied. You even called us to give us our code to get into the cabin 6 hours before we were supposed to be able to check in!! Thank you so much for a great vacation - we'll be back!”

- W. Rollins in Whispering Pines, 07/06/2010

Thank You”

- Faith Revival Center in Reid's Resort, 06/30/2010

“We had a delightful stay. The cabin was lovely, clean and well equipped. Directions were clear.

The Fun Pass was excellent! We enjoyed the USA Rafting on Saturday, and the staff and service were excellent. Lots of fun. Well organized, well trained and entertaining rafting staff. ASI had the wrong phone number for USA Raft and I called them to let them know. On Sunday we golfed at Bent Creek. Terrific day. No trouble booking except it took a bit of time on the phone. It all seems like it is new, so I’m sure as they get more experience with these providers, it will help. We literally saved $85 by using the Fun Pass. Thank you!”

- L. Young in Bearly Mine, 06/29/2010

“Hello,
We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the cabin was everything I could ask for. It was the perfect size for a couple and where it was located was nice. It was very clean and relaxing, we really enjoyed the pool table. A few things that I noticed that needed to be looked at was: The blinds in the living room (on the right side) was broke, you could not open/close them. The remote to the t.v. in the bedroom did not work, we changed the batteries and it still did not work. Upstairs at the pool table, every time we went up there, there was sawdust looking stuff on the table, possible carpenter bees or something like that in the wood. That activity pass thing, we got that but after viewing everything we weren't interested doing any of those things provided. I wish the Wahoo zip line was on there because that was extremely expensive.
We want to come back again when it cools off a little bit, we might invite family next time so, I will be possibly interested in a bigger cabin from you all, I loved the fact that we did not have so many people around us, we could go outside and see nothing but trees, I loved the privacy, there was one cabin that was huge up on the mountain looking down on us that was extremely loud but once we went inside the cabin we could not hear them. It was in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so close to everything. My husband and I rode around to look to see if we like any other cabins in the area (pretty views and privacy) I think we liked 2 other ones but when we came back to our cabin we always agreed ours is better. I was scared to purchase the cabin online or over the phone because I was not for sure on what it REALLY looked like but the people on the other end of the phone was very helpful and made me feel like it will be perfect for us and it was. It was a huge stress reliever, I am a property manager and my husband works for the fire department and work was really getting to us and we barely ever get a chance to get away. Our kids are 7 and 7 months and it has been nearly 5 years since we got to go somewhere without them, big relief. It is unreal how much better you feel after a vacation and you help us with ours, we greatly appreciated everything and making our stay well worth it and we know we will be back in the future.

Thank you!”

- Jessica P. in Sweet Temptation, 06/29/2010

“The vacation was fun the cabin was excellent and we will be returning in the future we had an amazing time thank you for the experience.

Thanks”

- J. Oliver in Wild West, 06/27/2010

“We really enjoyed our cabin in Gatlinburg. The view was great & the space was just right for me & the kids. Plus the air hockey table was a HUGE hit with the kids.”

- D. Lutsky in A Viewtiful Vista, 06/25/2010

“We really enjoy our stay at the cabin we needed a relaxing vacation and it proved to be one we only had one complaint and that was the ants were really bad but other then that everything else was great we don't get to go on many vacations but when we do again we will call you all for sure thank you again.”

- Sutton Family in Big Bear Cabin, 06/21/2010

[We have sprayed for the ants. Thank you for your comment.]

“I thought the cabin was in a great location and very close to many of the things we did over the weekend. I also loved the idea of staying in a UT theme cabin being a huge Vols fan.
I had all four of my sons come down for the weekend, one of which is a Marine who just got back from a tour in Afghanistan. Another who is with the 82nd Airborne and recently returned home after spending four months in Haiti helping with the earthquake cleanup. All four of them, along with my wife, loved the cabin and the time we spent there. Father's day was also my birthday and it will definitely be one I remember with great fondness for years to come. It will be a hard one to top and much of that will be thanks to the cabin we rented.
It is definitely something I would like to do again in the future.
Thank you”

- David Usary in Big Orange Country, 06/21/2010

“Hi Bakins Creek,

We loved our unit! It was like having our own little private cabin and pool all with the convenience of walking to town. We will definitely stay with you on our next visit!

Thanks”

“Hi Basking Creek Team:

We just want to thank you for such a great time we had, our cabin was super clean and neat, we did really enjoyed our stay at Bear Walk, the location was perfect, close to the town and attractions, Thank you again for your effort for us to have a great weekend, we are looking forward to come back.

Unfortunately there was only one thing, we were prepared to had a great cook out at the cabin's grill, but the grill that the cabin has was to small and is broken, we had to buy another grill so still, we managed to have our cookout.

Once again thank you for everything.”

- Rodrigo E. in Bear Walk, 05/31/2010

“My boyfriend and I came to gatlinburg for a quick weekend retreat, and we stayed in room 105. We truely enjoyed our stay with baskins creek. The room looked just as pictured online, and we loved all of the upgrades i.e. Fireplace, television, bedding, jacuzzi. The room was very clean, and the price and location were great. Thanks for a wonderful experience, we will be booking with you again!”

- Ashley P. in M105, 05/24/2010

“Thank you very much.
We had a blast and we didn't want to leave to come home. We both had the best time. We found our way to the cabin with no problems. The surroundings were peaceful and it was heaven for us. We will be back and hopefully soon. We are going to try to get away every few months and that is the cabin that we want to stay in. We are very happy with our stay at the Hearts Desire. Can't wait to go back. Everything was so nice. I miss it already. Thank you very much”

- Shannon & Sara F. in Hearts Desire, 05/23/2010

“I just wanted to let you know our stay was awesome! The cabin was amazing and was much better in person. I feel like the way you have things set up are perfect including the check in/check out process (was very convenient to not have to worry about getting keys & keeping track of them). We will definitely be back next year!”

- Lorraine A. in Bears Crossing, 05/19/2010

“We had a very nice time. The cabin ( Fox's den ) was very clean and nice. I plan on renting from you again when I return in October. Thanks.”

- Debra H. in Foxes Den, 05/19/2010

“Hi! Our stay at Cozy Country Cabin was wonderful! It was more then we had ever expected. This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and it was the best trip we've ever had. The cabin was comfy and cozy and a perfect place to call home away from home. We would have liked the Pac Man game to work and some of the jets on the hot tub were out but we loved every minute of it. Looking forward to coming back and staying in the cabin again! Your customer service was great too. We even lost electricity once and they got it back on by the time we came back from dinner. Just wonderful. I cant say enough. We wouldnt book our vacation through anyone else!!”

- Kelly & Patrick G. in Cozy Country, 05/18/2010

[Thank you for your comment and letting us know about the pacman game and hot tub issues. Both items have been repaired.]

“A beautifully decorated and spacious cabin. Very convenient to everything. The Media and Game Rooms add so much to even a short stay. Housekeeping was excellent. "Can't Bear to Leave" is a perfect name. Hope to stay again.”

- Mike & Sandra B. in Can't Bear to Leave Log Cabin, 05/07/2010

“"This cabin exceeded all of our expectations. First of all, we

were amazed at how large it actually is. The pictures just do not

do justice. It was very clean and it was obvious that the owners

work very hard to make sure everything is neat and orderly. It’s just beautiful! The

TV upstairs was a favorite to all, as was the hot tub. It is in a great

location and the scenery is stunning. Thanks so much for sharing your delightful second home with us. We will

be back soon and often."”

- Christy R. in Can't Bear to Leave Log Cabin, 05/05/2010

“Some of my good friends and I made the trip down to Gatlinburg from Louisville KY last weekend. Angels landing provided us with an excellent stay. The house was very spacious, plenty of room to sleep, relax, and have a great time. The pool table was nice as well as the Foosball table. The hot tub was good and hot when we arrived, and very clean. Plenty of parking space... Overall, all we could ask for in a place to stay on vacation. I highly recomend it to anyone looking to vacation in that area.”

- Adam B. in Angel's Landing, 04/26/2010

“We had a great time on our stay with you. We had stayed at this cabin last year but with a different rental company. There was no comparison. Last year we could not relax because of all the rules. We were afraid we were going to break one or wash the blue towels with the white ones. We even left a day early last time so we would make sure it was spotless as was expected. This time it was much more enjoyable.
The Smokey Mt Rose is a great cabin and we will return again next year and if it should happen not to be available we will rent with you anyway.
Thanks for everything!”

- Terri B. in Smoky Mountain Rose Log Cabin, 04/26/2010

“My family and I had a wonderful time and lookin forward to coming back. Everything was nice and it felt just like home.”

- The Johnson Family in Amy's Nook, 04/17/2010

“We stayed in the Smokey Mountain Rose cabin from April 6th- April 12th, 2010. I wanted to write in a book the owners talked about writing in but there wasn't one there.
We both had a wonderful time. The cabin was very much like being in your own home. It was comfortable and all the necessary items were there for our short stay. I only won two games of pool out of twelve I think ! ( We had a resident peacock that enjoyed bread crumbs. She was very brave to eat them from between my feet but quickly! I didn't know they all didn't have the large showy tails. I guess this was a girl bird. It did make sense because the male birds are usually more colorful. The weather was great it only rained one day. I hear we brought back the nice weather to Janesville, Wisconsin. We visited Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge. We did many activities like horseback riding, mini golf, go- carts, Hummer ride, dining and shopping. There certainly is enough activities to pick from here. Thank you again for a nice stay in your beautiful cabin. My navigation system did want us to keep crossing a creek to get to downtown ! )”

- Tammy & Mark B. in Smoky Mountain Rose Log Cabin, 04/14/2010

“Our stay was great. No complaints what so ever. We have discussed trying to come back each anniversary & getting the same chalet if possible.
Thanks”

- Tanya W. in Amy's Nook, 04/14/2010

“Oh where do I begin we had a great time I was actually teary eyed when we walked in the cabin and the view on the deck WOW . We will be back for sure I plan on brining more of the family next year this year there was only nine of us and we want more to experience the feeling that we had. We want to stay longer next time to didn't get enough time at cabin always in the towns. Did not have problem finding cabin little spooky with tight corners and steap inclines but so worth it. Thanks again let me know if you got dicounts for return customers that would be GREAT!
PS: Never change the name of this cabin it fits it to well Heaven's Blessing!!!!!!

God Bless”

- Becky S. in A Heaven's Blessing, 04/14/2010

“Our stay at Robin's Nest was really great. There are only a couple of
problems: 1. 35 steps to front door and 2. the parking space for my Chevy Suburban (concerned about getting sideswiped). Great location, quiet, not real busy (could be the season), sound of the creek was great, the deck with swing was wonderful.

My next stay, I will inquire about Bear Hugs or Hug a Bear cabin that has ground level and better parking. We got the best price for the two of us so no problem. We liked the fact that we paid early online so check in and out was perfect.

We will recommend baskins creek because Rebecca and Shelby were great.

Thanks,”

- Mike C. in Robin's Nest, 04/12/2010

“We had a wonderful stay at the High Alpine location. Beautiful condo.

Having not been to Gatlinburg in the past 22 years, so much had changed I hardly recognized coming
in from Seiverville. Driving up Ski Mountain Road was very scary for us as we did not know what to
expect. Became very familiar with that road very quickly. High Alpine was the same, very scary.
Only noticed a couple things in the condo............there was dried food in the disposal side of the sink.
And tiny little dead bugs on the floors by door and windows. But, I suspect one can't help that being
in the mountains.
The view was awesome, to say the least.
Only thing we all hoped to see was bears and deer, but was not lucky enough to see them.
We have deer in our yard all the time here as we live next to a park and they are all over
the place.

I would recommend this condo to anyone and would be interested in staying there again at some point.

Thank you again!”

“Dear Baskins Creek Vacation Rentals,
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Southern Pleasures cabin, and are already looking forward to our next visit. We were impressed with the accommodations, and just have a couple of things to mention that you might want to check up on. The toilet was running after every flush, and my need a new part or two to get it operating smoothly. Also, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be or not, but the hot tub vents were running intermittently throughout our stay, even when we tried to turn them off (this is probably normal, but we weren't sure.) The only other thing that we found to be a problem was that the sheets on the bed were a horrible fit, and we could not get them to stay on. We would fix them just before going to sleep, and be laying on bare mattress when we woke up in the mornings. None of these problems put a damper on our wonderful vacation, and we would definitely come back and stay here again. We just wanted to let you know so that future guests have the best stay possible.
Thanks again,”

- Rebecca K. in Southern Pleasure, 04/11/2010

[Maintenance has repaired the toilet and we have notified housekeeping about using deep pocket sheets for the bed. Thank you for your feedback.]

“What a beautiful chalet! We usually stay in As Good As It Gets, which is top of the line, however it was booked during our stay. Fancy Free was wonderful. We loved having the carpet in the bedrooms. My only complaint is there are no outside lights on the lower deck where the hot tub is located. It was very dark almost scary dark. We had to use our cell phones, and pray it did not drop in the water, to see to turn the jets on, maybe the owner will want to look into it, that alone could be a reason families with children would not return tot that unit. For the most part...what a great place. We look forward to staying with Baskins Creek...As Good As It Gets, this summer.”

- LeAnn H. in Fancy Free, 04/11/2010

[Thank you for your comment and suggestions. We gave your suggestion for lights on the hot tub deck to the owner and he has agreed they are needed and he will be installing them.]

“I am writing to let u know about our wonderful time in Bears Crossing cabin i have been staying with Baskins Creek cabins for about 5 years now and have never had a complaint i have always been very satisfied thank you for our pleasant stay.”

- Sharon C. in Bears Crossing, 04/07/2010

“Baskins Creek,
This is the 2nd year we have chosen to stay with you for a long weekend in March. Everyone enjoyed the stay in the amazing cabin that offered everything the website said it would. The only disappointment was the view. From the photos, I thought we would have a similar view as the year before in Heaven's Blessing. Instead, we looked down to an asphalt undeveloped cauldesac. Other than the view, our stay was wonderful and we will be back next March!”

- Natalie O. in Mirage Log Cabin, 04/06/2010

“WE REALLY ENJOYED THE CABIN, COULD HAVE HAD A BETTER CD PLAYER NEVER COULD GET IT TO WORK, AND THE HOT TUB SHUT OFF A COUPLE OF TIMES. WE WASHED ALL THE TOWELS AND LEFT THEM FOLDED AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP.
WE WILL KEEP YOU ON THE LIST OUR FIRST STAY
WITH YOU. THANKS”

- Nancy R. in Always & Forever, 04/06/2010

“Dear Baskins Creek Rentals,

We did very much enjoy or week in Tennessee. The accommodations were very nice, inviting and clean! We did have the situation where the cabin waste line was laying on the ground not attached to the house but that was quickly taken care of. I did want you to know that the microwave did not have the glass tray on the bottom. I looked everywhere but we could not locate one. The turning device was inside but no tray. I would recommend you to my family/friends.”

- Todd N. in Cozy Bear, 04/05/2010

[Thank you for your comment, we have replaced the plate for the microwave.]

“All around very pleased with the accommodations. Directions e-mailed to me were incorrect- if we didn’t have a GPS, I’m not sure we would have found it.

Thanks!”

- Lauren M. in Crystal's Cabin, 04/05/2010

“Hi,
My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were great. Just a few suggestions: Mats or rugs in the kitchen, or at least just inside the sliding door, and one at the front door - to pick up any dirt, moisture and to prevent the light color wall to wall carpeting from being soiled. Maybe mats or rugs have been provided before and past occupants have taken them?
It was very awkward replacing the hot tub cover. We chose not to use the hot tub anymore.

All in all the unit was very clean, well laid out, and modern enough. I noticed there wasn't a dishwasher but, we didn't really need it. The bathroom was very clean too!

The ladies at the office were very friendly and very helpful with any concerns we had.

The location of the unit was just close enough to walk all over Gatlinburg without having to drive and then pay to park.

The stream behind the unit was beautiful.

Thank you so much for making our stay very enjoyable.

Thanks,”

- Ramona S. in Honeymoon Lodge 11, 04/02/2010

“I had a wonderful stay at the Bears Crossing. This was my 2nd time visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Last year it was a spare of the moment trip with some friends and we stayed on Dollywood Lane and it was nice. So I made sure to plan a trip for the family. It was nice but nothing compared to what was in store for us at Bears Crossing. My three children (6-9yrs old) and other family members that has never been there before had the best time of their lives. I actually won the Best Mom Award for this trip. The cabin was very spacious and well put together. I wish there were DVD players in at least the master suites but the projector screen worked just fine. I was really worried about how far up we would be b/c the windy roads just scare me.My husband did just fine considering it was his 1st time driving the roads. We saw a raccoon every night and boy are they huge. I really wanted to see the bears that the other guest talked about. Maybe next time b/c there will be a next time. Thank you so much Baskin Creek for a wonderful stay. I will recommend you to all my friend and family.

Thanks,”

- The Cantrell Family in Bears Crossing, 03/30/2010

“We had a wonderful stay in the mountains the last couple of days! We thank you for making it easy for us to get into the condo and everything was clean and comfortable. We won’t hesitate to call you again.”

- Deborah M. in T402, 03/28/2010

“We very much enjoyed our stay, the room was very nice and clean and we had no problems at all checking in or out. The only complaint was that the remote control for the fireplace and lights didn't work properly. While it claimed it was dimming the lights or raising the fire speed in the fireplace neither one worked at all the lights stayed at the same level of brightness which was full bright and the fire stayed at the same speed which was full speed. Also the remote wouldn't let me set a temperature at all, so i couldn't set what temp i wanted the fireplace to begin working. Other than the remote not working my wife and i have no complaints and will definitely use your accommodation services in the future.”

- Jeremy C. in M105, 03/28/2010

[The remote needed new batteries which have been replaced. Thank you]

“We really loved our room. The only real problem that we had was that the room seemed a little dark, even with all the lights on & the curtains open. Besides that, we had a great time!”

- Ellen H. in M205, 03/27/2010

“"We really enjoyed spending our honey moon at the Sweet Temptation cabin. We loved sitting by the fire at night; and especially sitting in the hot tub over looking the woods on the private porch. We had fun playing pool in the loft, although I lost 12 games out of 12; but it's how you play the game that counts. I have already recommended this cabin to some friends. I know they will enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you.”

- Cynthia A. in Sweet Temptation, 03/24/2010

“The townhouse was great and great location. The only complaint I have is there wasn't enough towels for the size of the rental. There was 6 adults and I had to wash towels every night for us to have a clean towel to take a shower with. Otherwise, it was great and I will consider these townhouses for further vacations. Thanks again.”

- Belinda D. in T303, 03/23/2010

“We enjoyed our stay this weekend. The cabin, Biscuits N Gravy was beautiful! I am promoting Baskins Creek rental property to my extended family.”

- Latosha W. in Biscuits N' Gravy, 03/21/2010

“My husband I stayed at Always & Forever 3/18-3/21. We loved it. We were initially a little disappointed with the close proximity to several other units since the picture made it look like and the website described it as "private" but once inside and out on the deck, the layout allowed for the feel of a private cabin. We really liked the express check in feature. When we arrived, the cabin was clean and well stocked. I would suggest leaving a couple more extra garbage bags, we only had one. It ended up being enough, but we didn't use the kitchen much and I think if we had ate in more, it would have been an issue. We really enjoyed our stay and the cabin was beautiful. It was very peaceful to sit out on the deck with our coffee, in the rocking chairs in the the mornings. The bed slept wonderfully. We loved reading the entries in the guest book from the owners and previous guests. We will definitely be back soon.

Thanks,”

- Jessica H. in Always & Forever, 03/21/2010

“I enjoyed my stay with your establishment. It was very nice and would use it again.

Thank you,”

- Kim H. in M113, 03/20/2010

“We really enjoyed our stay. the beds were comfortable, the unit was clean and well stocked. I would however suggest that the loft bedroom could use some blinds/shades over the door to the balconey. The street light shines in directly onto the pillows at night.”

- Cynthia C. in Bear Ridge, 03/19/2010

[Thank you for your comments and your suggestions. We have forwarded your email to the owner of the cabin.]

“We had a great time while in the Smokies. The unit was nice and clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest adding would be some hangers to hang our clothes and maybe let a person know ahead of time that you do not furnish an iron and ironing borad or maybe just furnish one. Other than this, it was great. The maid service did not leave coffe one day, but we left a note and they furnish us with more coffee. Excellent service.

Thanks.

I hope you have a Blessed Day”

- Marva J. in M115, 03/17/2010

“Room 105 was very nicely done and we had a great time. We don't get too far from home and you are just about the right distance. Let me know when you have special prices. Thanks.”

- Linda Y. in M105, 03/15/2010

“It was wonderful all around. The only thing I would suggest is getting rid of the VCR's and putting in some DVD players. Everyone likes a scary movie in the cabin, but no one has VHS tapes anymore. Other than that, it is the perfect place for a couple to rewind and relax away. I will most certainly be staying with baskins creek in the future.”

- Matt G. in American Charm, 03/15/2010

[We have forwarded your suggestion to the property owner. Thank you.]

“Our stay was VERY nice, we were very pleased with everything. We will be checking availability with you EVERY time we visit Gatlinburg. Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful, and we will highly recommend you to our friends.
Thanks again,”

- Tammie B. in M113, 03/15/2010

“My husband and I enjoyed the cabin as we always do. This wasn't our first time staying with Baskins Creek and I believe we will continue to use you guys in the future. The only thing that could be complained on was the weather but that is out of everyone's control. We're real outdoorsy people and enjoy exploring the surrounding trails, but the inclement weather prevented us from doing so. But on the flip side, we live in Bristol, so we don't have far to travel. We found that there was a newer hot tub which was much more enjoyable than the old one. We did have a few wasps try to come in and visit and we did have a huge raccoon get in the trash but thank goodness it wasn't a bear! We look forward to renting again and we may try out some different cabins to get some ideas for our own future plans of building a log home. Thanks so much for everything and we will book in the future!

Sincerely,”

- Greg & Whitney S. in Heaven Sent, 03/15/2010

“WOW!!!!!!!! The cabin was absolutley beautiful!!! We were completely comfortable and relaxed when we walked through the door.
Everything was so clean, and inviting.
We enjoyed ourselves so much; and are planning to return possibly this summer and definetly next year. - Thanks”

- Latasha and Kendrick C. in Always & Forever, 03/08/2010

“We came down for our 11 year Anniversary and stayed in the Wild West cabin. We have visited the area and stayed in several different cabins throughout the years. We consider this cabin to be the finest that we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed the decor and layout of the cabin immensely. The convenient location is also a very nice luxury. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Thank You,”

- David & Karen L. in Wild West, 03/07/2010

“We rented Amy's Nook this past weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. However we spent an hour looking for the cabin with the directions we recieved from the website.
You can access Sharron Dr from the main street. A good point to use for when to turn Is the Jurassic Cave ride on the corrner of Sharron.
Anyway we did enjoy our stay and plan on returning with our family soon.

Thank you”

- Amy P. in Amy's Nook, 03/01/2010

[I have sent your suggestion for changing the map directions to our web master. Thank you]

“Yes,we had a great time and everything was great! It would be our pleasure to book with you again. Thanks again.”

- Ty & Ashley P. in Cozy Country, 02/28/2010

“We had a great time, especially after we found the thermostat in the kitchen, behind the door, which gave heat to the lower "forty." Everything was just great and we look forward to returning again.

Thank you,”

“My husband and I were there on our 19th anniversary we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and we had complete privacy. This was our 4th time staying there, we always get cottage 102 or 103. We also enjoy the jacuzzi, we had a really good time. We also like the location it is in walking distance to all the shops that helps out alot because you don't have to worry about finding a place to park. It was a wonderful place to stay and the cost was affordable.”

- Teresa M. in Cottage 103, 02/26/2010

“We have stayed in your chalets, cabins and hotels and never had a problem. We really enjoy all of the accommodations you have to offer. The most recent stay was very enjoyable. Room 107 met our expectations as seen on the website. We have booked reservations at least 4 times and are planning another trip really soon. We will stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality. See y'all real soon....”

- The Waters Family in M107, 02/26/2010

“Thank you so much for all of the accomodations! I have been to Gatlinburg approximaytely 15 times and loved it every time. However, this visit was one of the best. I loved the privacy and location of our rental. I have saved Baskins Creek number in my cell phone for the next time I visit. I will definitely reccomend you to family and friends!
Thank you so much!”

“Enjoyed every minute, once again, @ the Wild Wild West cabin in the Brookstone village. It's like our home away from home, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Smokies....Thanks so much for making our stay so pleasant and getting us in early before the weather got bad.
We will be back soon.....”

“I recently stayed at Baskins Creek Town houses unit #403. It was fantastic. I had a great time and have already recommended your units to others I know. Next time I come up, I will definitely give you a call.

By the way, when I got up there I bought a Disc for sledding. Never got to use it. Left it by the Washer/Dryer unit for the next lucky family to use.

Thanks again,”

“Hello, Our stay at the Inn was great! the room was very nice, the only part about it I didn't care for was the ramp you had to walk up to get to the room was too steep other than that we had a really good time and plan to return Hopefully next time we'd like to stay in one of your condo's.”

- Barbara H. in M205, 02/17/2010

“Hello we stayed in the 201 cottage over the valentines day weekend. we had a wonderful time and a wonderful stay as well. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she answered all of my many questions throughout our stay. Our cottage was very nice and we will definetly plan on staying with Baskins Creek again.”

- Joseph M. in Cottage 201, 02/16/2010

“We Really Enjoyed our stay at Baskins creek, the people on the phones are very polite and helpful. One thing about the place we were staying, that i did notice was the cold air coming threw the door, it was almost like having a air condition system coming from the door, if the door could be tighten a little it would help cut cost of heating that room and be a better stay for your customers. I will be back again this summer and hope that baskins creek has enough room for my whole family of 8. this place really made the perfect Valentines weekend spot my girlfriend loved it, hope to see you this summer”

- Dylan W. in Honeymoon Lodge 13, 02/16/2010

[Thank you for your comment. Maintenance has repaired the door.]

“This is our 4th year to stay with BaskinsCreekRentals and we are so satisfied. We loved Bear Ridge. It was great for our family. We will be back next year. Your easy check in is the bomb! Thanks for everything.”

- Peggy R. in Bear Ridge, 02/16/2010

“Had a most wonderful time at the cabin!
We appreciate the hospitality, and the customer service!

I'm getting ready to head back into active duty service tomorrow, so this opportunity provided my wife and I an awesome moment to share with each other, and was marked especially by being Valentine's Day.
The cabin was well-kept, and we had no issues at all.

I look forward to being able to come back, and hope we'll be able to plan on it being back to heaven-sent!”

- Bill S. in Heaven Sent, 02/16/2010

“We had a wonderful time in the cabin. Hot tub and jacuzzi tubs were great. The cabin was a great place. We had some difficulty with the roads (weather related). We made it off the street onto E. Foothills and had to ditched our truck, because the roads were so bad. Several hours later (and walking 6+ miles) the road was treated and we could return. I am keeping the information regarding the cabin in my vacation folder and will recommend it to friends and family. I would like to thank "Renita" who helped arrange our stay, she totally rocks.....Thanks so much.”

- Christy F. in Satin & Lace, 02/15/2010

“The stay at the Ann's place cabin was wonderful. The video game system we found was not able to play games. However we didnt' travel to your area to play video games all weekend, so that was not a concern. there was a bit of a draft through the doors leading to the deck. some weatherstripping there would greatly increase the occupants comfort. As well as decreasing energy outlay with heating and AC in the summertime.

Overall I would highly recommend your cabins to any and all of my friends, and will hopefully be staying in gatlinburg again with one of you cabins.

Thank You for the great service you provide”

- Rick F. in Ann's Place, 02/15/2010

[Thank you for your comment. We have sent maintenance out to install the weather stripping and reset the game in the unit.]

“We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much. We came in following your map that was given to us. We had a very hard time getting to the cabin because it was snowing and very iced over. We do feel the end of the map was misleading and if we would have followed it as it said 'to the end of the road and last cabin on the left' we would have ended up in a very bad situation BC of the weather. The map actually needs to say 'After turning onto Charles Lewis Way make a slight right and Hearts Desire is the 2nd to the last cabin on the left!' We were told we would have no problems getting to our cabin being that it was all flat ground! ;just a few misleading things, but other than that our stay was very nice! Thank you very much!”

- Jeff N. in Hearts Desire, 02/15/2010

[Thank you for letting us know about the directions. We have corrected them.]

“We had a very nice time in the Safari suite. The condo was cozy and clean, the staff was very helpful and informative. No problems checking in or out.

The only complaint we had was Ice was not available on the property. We did see the location marked Ice and vending but it remained locked throughout our stay.

I would recommend Baskins Creek to a friend or relative and we will definitely book with you again in the future.

Thanks for a Great get-a-way!!!!!!!”

- Carlyle & Charlotte A. in A Gatlinburg Safari, 01/15/2010

“Hello Staff of Baskins Creek Rentals,

I just want to thank each and everyone who helped our group of 42 get off the snowy mountain and into townhouses below. From the courtesy calls to the maintenance guys who unloaded their vehicles of maintenance items and shuttled each of us down safely to the financial break to move us. Although I love Reid's Resort, it's not for me when the snow is on the roads. The townhouses were perfect. Very nice and very convenient. Although our stay was very turbulent over the first 24 hours, the convention went well and the stay was pleasant once we got settled. WE WILL REPEAT OUR BUSINESS WITH YOU ALL AND WE WILL RECOMMEND YOU TO OUR FRIENDS!!

Thank You ALL!”

- Darren S. in Reid's Resort, 01/14/2010

“My husband and i had a wonderful time staying at the American dream. we love how everything was set up and the view was great as well. this was our first time staying at your cabins and it want be the last. we enjoyed our time there so much that i cried when it was time to leave. the only things that didn't make it perfect was that when it snowed we got stuck at the bottom of the hill and had to walk up for our luggage but had a fun tie sliding down then the indoor jacuzzi had a little trouble staying hot but that was ok because the hot tube was all ready for us to enjoy. we came to get married and have our honeymoon and you made it the best time ever for us. we give you 3 thumbs up. we are planning our family trips to come back and visited. along with family and friends. so we will be back for another great time. we love the cabin and the rates were great. Thank you and see you soon.
The Newlyweds”

- Tiphanie T. in American Dream, 01/11/2010

“Loved the room. Great value for the price. The only thing it could maybe use is a chair or sofa, but the fit would be kind of tight. Also I looked at several of the condos in the Honeymoon lodge for future stays. I liked them all, and I understand you are currently remodeling, so I have two suggestions. The Decks could use a coat of paint and several of the condos have very old very small tv's. These should be updated. It could be done easily and cheaply and would finish off what were otherwise very nice accomadations for the price. I will certainly consider you for future stays and will leave some positive feedback on a few travel websites which some people have left some pretty negative comments. I nearly didn't stay with you because of these reviews, but I found the negative opinions to be completley unfounded.”

- Mike P. in M105, 01/09/2010

“Hello to all! I would like to thank you for our wonderful stay at the Sanctuary Cabin over the New Year Holiday. The pictures on the website did not do it justice. Our dryer made an aweful sound and the ice maker did not work, but the cabin was cozy and spacious. We will definitely be renting with you again- perhaps at the end of January.”

- Courtney M. in Sanctuary, 01/08/2010

“The house was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at High Hopes, it was spacious the view was gorgeous and the location was wonderful. The cabin was located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The directions led us to red light 6 in Gatlinburg and five would have been easier with the traffic or better yet direction from the welcome center.
Thanks it couldn't have been better!”

- Suzy B. in High Hopes, 01/04/2010

“This is our fourth cabin rental in the Smokies in the past few years. This was our first experience with Baskins Creek and we very much appreciated doing business with you for our accommodations while visiting this year. Wild Turkey is a wonderful cabin. This time, we brought along our nine-year old granddaughter and she loved having her own place in the loft. The cabin was looked very clean, the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The heater keeps the cabin extremely comfortable.”

- Gary & Mina B. in At Wild Turkey, 12/29/2009

“Our stay was far more enjoyable than we could have imagined. The cabin accomodations were incredible. From perfect Christmastime weather to the ease of a dishwasher, washer and dryer...our stay was wonderful. The cabin was super clean. mondern, and very spacious. The jacuzzui and hot tub were relaxing...although hot water wasnt as plentious as we would have liked. The view was gorgeous and the road up to the cabin charming. Every convienience of home was there. We would have liked to added another night to our stay but the cabin was already booked. We put upa Christmas tree complete with lights and left it there for the incoming guests to enjoy. We will be making this a Smoky Mtn> tradition at Christmas for our family.”

- Jackie B. in Whispering Pines, 12/28/2009

“Thank you for helping me with our accommodations last week. We had a great time. The condo was perfect for us. I'll learn next time to ask how far up the mountain I have to drive. It was a little intimidating, but I got used to it after a couple of days. One thing I wanted to let you know about. The turntable in the microwave oven wouldn't turn for me. It burned up a couple of things I put in there, then I learned I needed to stop the microwave every few seconds and manually turn it. Otherwise we found the condo to be well stocked with what we needed. Thanks again!”

- Susan E. in 207 High Alpine, 12/27/2009

“We liked the unit as usual, especially the upgrades .The only thing I did not like was the lack of wood especially if the power would go off as it did several years ago .

thanks hope to be there next year .”

- Ted G. in Reid's Resort, 12/26/2009

“Dear Baskin Creek Staff,

First, my wife and I extend a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

Thank you for requesting comments on our recent stay at Bear Hugs. We enjoyed the location of the cabin, and, for the most part, the accommodations met all of our needs. To best summarize our thoughts and suggestions concerning your service, our accommodations, or how you might better serve us, I compiled the following list of
+ (positive) and - (negative/needs attention) items.

+ Great location.
+ Very cordial, friendly and professional staff. I appreciated the phone call from the reservations staff who provided the access code to the front door while we were in route. Very thoughtful.
+ Fair price for the accommodations.
+ Great response to an electrical hazard in one of the bathrooms. A maintenance representative responded in less than 30 minutes to replace the switch for the overhead light and exhaust fan which was sparking and presented a potential fire hazard.
+ The cabin and all of its contents were clean and in good working order. Nice area decor.
+ The hot tub is awesome!
+ Very comfortable bed. That is a rarity.
+ Close, convenient parking.
+ The gas fireplace is wonderful. Too bad the couch is not a fold-out bed. It would be great to sleep near the warmth of the fire. That would just add to the charm of a honeymoon cabin.

- The lack of snow removal in the parking area and the pathway to the cabin was a big problem for my wife who is handicapped. Had a snow shovel been available in the cabin, I could have eliminated this as an issue.
- While there was an iron, there was no ironing board available.
- The door in the bedroom that leads to the outside is in dire need of attention. The gaps between the door and the frame are so large, you cannot keep the bedroom warm, and I am certain that your utility bills could be cut dramatically by installing the necessary molding around the door.
- Consider buying an additional frying pan/skillet. There is one 8" frying pan, and that is hardly adequate for cooking meals.
- The tile around the hot tub is a major health hazard. After using the hot tub, my wife and I had to literally hold on for dear life in order to walk out of the hot tub room.
- There appears to be no heat going into the bedroom bath. If you want to be invigorated, just walk in there without any clothes.
- Recommend that blankets be made available for those cold winter nights. If not, you might want to include something in the information portion for Bear Hugs. The same thing applies to an ironing board and cookware.

My wife and I thank you for accommodating us and providing excellent service, and we hope you find our comments helpful. We will certainly consider Baskin Creek Vacation Rentals on our next trip to Gatlinburg.”

- Bernard L. in Bear Hugs, 12/26/2009

[We really appreciate your comments the owner does too. We have put weather stripping around the door and repaired the vent going into the bathroom. We have put in a new set of pots and pans and had you called the front desk either housekeeping of maintenance would've brought them to you immediately along with the missing blanket. The tile around the hot tub is nonskid tile and is there for sanitary reasons as carpet would only collect germs which would be a greater danger to people's health. Snow removal in the Smokies other than for main roads is nonexistent. Again had you called the front desk and asked for help maintenance would've gladly shoveled your walkway to the car. While we cannot shovel out every cabin we do go to great lengths to accommodate people with special needs. “We had a great time at the Lumberjack cabin. The hot tub was fabulous and the jacuzzi was very nice. The cabin was very roomy. However, there were a few things that needed to be updated, check the batteries in the remotes and some of the tips on the pool sticks needed to be replaced. Other than those few things our stay was very good. Thanks”

- The H's in Lumberjack Rack Log Cabin, 12/26/2009

[We replace the batteries in the remotes and replace the pool cue tips.]

“We stayed in Reid's Resort on Dec. 10-13th. We had a great time and the cabin was the best we have had in the last 4 years! Thank-you to you and the owners for a very enjoyable long weekend stay.”

- Craig in Reid's Resort, 12/24/2009

“We had 7 females and a 7 week old baby on our stay at Fancy Free. Everyone loved the cabin. They all told me that I "did good" in picking this one.

This is the first time we as a family, aunts and cousins, have done this. However, it will probably become a yearly event. I feel for sure we will again return to Fancy Free. No questions asked.

Lovely accommodations!”

“Thank you for the great service provided by your staff. Everyone was very polite and helpful during my concerns over the power being out and the snow. The only thing that was a disappointment was the gas fireplace not working correctly, other than that everything was great. Thank you for a great stay.”

“Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin on December 11-13, 2009. My only suggestion is to let prospective patrons know they need to rent an SUV or Truck if they are renting a vehicle to get to the cabin. We had no idea that the cabin was in the mountains that much (A beautiful view, once you get pass the steep mountain view). We were very surprised because we flew to Knoxville and rented a Pontiac only to find out we needed to rent a truck or SUV (you may want to suggest on your website that if they are renting a vehicle they should rent an appropriate vehicle for mountains). Also, we were disappointed to find out we had to go outside to get to the pool room to shoot pool. We would have played more than we did if there was door that led from the house to the pool room. The hot tub, AWESOME!!! We loved it. Jacuzzi, AWESOME!!! Beds, ADDICTIVE!! Plenty of room! You have a beautiful cabin and we would definitely want to stay again. Very homey and comfortable atmosphere. Great for a couple to stay who want to be secluded. Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg are just gorgeous. We will be coming back next year. Again, thank you!!! Have a wonderful holiday!!!”

- Wendy W. in A Bear's Paradise, 12/17/2009

“My husband and I and a group of our friends came up from Birmingham and stayed at Alone at Last. The cabin was excellent we all had a blast. The hot tub was wonderful along with the pool table and the wonderful views. We also appreciated that we were able to check in late and pay the rest of the stay the next day. Thank you for helping our trip to be the best. We will definately be coming back to stay at Baskins Creek rentals.”

- Leah E. in Alone at Last, 12/15/2009

“My fiancé and I finally tied the knot in Gatlinburg on December 11th and then came back to the cabin for our reception. Everything was perfect! It was a great view, beautiful fireplace, amazing decks and lots of room for everyone. We were very happy with our stay. We even saw a bear from our balcony we had never seen one in the wild so we thought it was the greatest thing ever. They weren't kidding when they named our cabin Bears Crossing! Thanks for a great time.”

“Dear Sir or Madam:

I would like to take the time to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at Baskins Creek the later part of November and early December. I rented a cottage and the honeymoon suite. My husband and I stayed in the suite while other family members stayed in the cottage. My family members were pleased with the cottage and we were likewise pleased with the suite. I love the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area. It was such short notice of our getting reservations for our stay and wanted so much to thank you for accommodating all of us. It was our first visit during the holiday season and we truly enjoyed the lights in Gatlinburg and Dollywood. We usually visit TN in either June or July. We were surprised of how busy the area was especially with the economy being so bad. TN is a great place to visit.

Thank you again for making our holiday visit a memory we will all treasure. Wishing you and your staff a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best regards,”

“This is just a brief note to inform your staff of the nice stay we had at "Amy's Nook". Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. it was a very nice little cabin. Also, please consider purchasing a queen/king sized bed for this cabin. The standard bed was just not big enough ~”

- Genese S. in Amy's Nook, 12/10/2009

“We stayed in the Whispering Pines cabin. The hot tub worked great even with snow outside and cold temperatures. What a beautiful site it was to be standing on the deck or sitting in the hot tub looking out at the mountains and trees while the snow was falling, it was so peaceful & relaxing. You don't realize how close you are to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, you feel like you are miles and miles away from everyone and everything. The unit was very clean and comfort. We really loved the pool table (even if the room was a little small). The express check in was very very convenient.”

- Michelle M. in Whispering Pines, 12/09/2009

“My husband and I recently stayed at 168 village stream condominiums. We loved the trip and the process so easily made by baskin creek rentals. However it would be more convenient to have cable tv in the bedroom and providing wood for the fireplace. Other than that the room was very good for the price. Thank you for a good trip away for our honeymoon!!”

“We loved the Charlee Ann and look forward to returning in the near future.

Loved the privacy, the convenience to downtown and especially the sound of the creek.

Thank you,”

“This year we stayed at the Bear’s Den cabin. Again, it was very unique and spacious for all of us. The hot tub was not working however when we reported it during our check out, the staff graciously advised they would discount the price. This is just another reason we continue to use you for our vacation rentals. The cabin appeared to have fairly new carpeting throughout however it appeared as though it could use some minor wall touchups, paint and repairs to make it an outstanding unit.

Thanks again for your interest in our stay and we look forward to our next stay, with you of course.”

- Dennis B. in Bears Den, 12/07/2009

“Our stay was a pleasant experience and will definantly consider staying again...”

- Don G. in M110, 12/02/2009

“Buckhorn Lodge provided our family with a lovely place to stay. The view was probably the best I have had in all the years I have been to the Smokies. The kitchen was well placed for family gatherings and having a bathroom for each bedroom was ideal.

The only problem we had was with the upstairs bedroom TV. It would not work. One of the guys thought some wires had been pulled loose from the cabel box. We could also have used more than one dish towel and one dish rag.

It was not a real problem but the pool table gets noisy if you are trying to watch TV in the same room and others are playing. It would not keep us from renting there again but would have been nice in a different room. (Even though, that isn't possible.)

Thanks again for the great time,”

- Peggy B. in Buckhorn Lodge, 12/01/2009

“We had a great time staying in the Fancy Free cabin in Brookstone Village over the Thanksgiving weekend! We stay in a different cabin in Brookstone every year at this time, and Fancy Free is our favorite so far. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of room for our two families to spread out. Everyone loved playing pool and Foosball! The only problem we had was the fact that the kitchen did not have any baking sheets or any dishes that could go in the oven, so my sisters had to go out and buy some so that they could cook the Thanksgiving meal. Just a minor inconvenience, however, when compared with our overall stay. We all look forward to returning again next year!”

- Mark D. in Fancy Free, 12/01/2009

“Thank you so much ...the cabin was great ,,,we had a wonderful time . It was so convenient to everything. My future son-in -law was with us .He lives on Teester????think that's right . which is just off the parkway so we took a lot of shortcuts! I was a little surprised though...I was looking for a pet friendly cabin...but it was ok that I couldn't bring my wieners with me . But on the top deck apparently someone had "snuck" their dog by you . It had pottied under the big window!!!! You might want to get the cleaners to remove it before your next guest arrive!!!
Overall we were very pleased,,,it was a great ! Good quality time together..We will definetely give you a call next time.”

- Julia S. in As Good As It Gets, 11/30/2009

“We had a wonderful 2 days(Nov. 27-29) at the Nestle Inn. The ladies at the Front Desk were very friendly and organized. Check-out was quick and efficient. The location was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The maid service was excellent. The kitchen, refrigerator, & cupboards were very clean and orderly.”

“Thank you for a great stay at Wild Wild West! My family and I had a wonderful time and the cabin is just beautiful!”

- Vicki A. in Wild West, 11/29/2009

“Overall, we loved the cabin "Top of the World". The location is beautiful and the cabin was spacious and we were very pleased with the whole set up.

We did run out of hot water a couple of times which was a little disappointing and the circuit breaker went out on us. We had to wait a few hours on a response from management to reset it. This caused a delay in our Thanksgiving dinner preparations. It would be nice if some note could be posted with instructions as to how to reset the circuit breaker.

We definitely plan to return next year!”

- Simone C. in Top Of The World, 11/29/2009

“We had a wonderful stay at Roths Place. There was an issue with the hot tub, all the water leaked out of it the night we arrived, a maintenance person came up on Saturday and temporarily fixed the problem re-filled the tub, but failed to turn the heater back on, so needless to say it was a cold tub and we did not get to enjoy it.”

- Kitty L. in Roth's Place, 11/29/2009

“My husband and I had a great stay this past weekend. The cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg, but still be within walking distance. We will definitely look into other Baskin Creek rentals in the future.”

“We had an amazing stay in the Smoky Mountains. I liked the location of our cabin because it was very close to all of the attractions. Also we really enjoyed our cabin. The only problems we had was the jacuzzi in our cabin did not work and we didn't realize how residential the road was. However, overall our stay was amazing and we will be coming back in the future and I would not hesitate to make our resorvaions with your company again. Also, I would like to let you know everyone I talked to in customer service was very nice.”

“I just wanted to comment on how nice our stay was at The Nestle Inn, room 203 from Nov 8-11, 2009.

Everything worked and the room was very cozy and located closer to downtown than I thought it would be, but so quiet and peaceful.

The staff is super friendly and the setting is amazing. Who needs 5 star rooms which cost 4 times as much when the Nestle Inn has everything a person trying to get away can ask for!!

We will be back! Thank you...”

- Danny & Susan R. in M203, 11/11/2009

“Our stay at Baskins Creek was wonderful. The cabin was very clean and neat. The only complaint was the jets in the jacuzzi do not work properly. Other than than we enjoyed the visit very much.”

- Christy M. in Robin's Nest, 11/11/2009

“I would like to say we loved our stay at Fancy Free. This was our first time staying at Fancy Free as we usually stay at The Sanctuary. Fancy Free is so much nicer. It was very clean and did not smell musty like the Sanctuary. The couches were much more comfortable. All in all, we were much more satisfied with Fancy Free.
We did not take the trash out as we couldn't find the trash cans. The shower on the main floor needs the door put back on track better. We did the best we could to get it on the track right, but I think it is still off a little.
We would recommend you change the shower heads out. These find water heads (I assume these are supposed to help conserve water) take forever to rinse the shampoo out of your hair. We were a group of women and we noticed that right off.
All and all, we loved the place and will stay there again in the near future. Thanks for recommending it.
Sincerely,”

- Barbara P. in Fancy Free, 11/09/2009

“Our stay at Honeytree Hideaway was great. We liked the cabin.”

- Carolyn C. in Honeytree Hideaway, 11/08/2009

“We had fantastic weekend. This was our 3rd stay with you, and this was our favorite cabin! Very roomy and nice, great location, beautiful scenery.

Nothing really to change, the only suggestion I would have is the early checkout! 10am is pretty early for us. Noon would be SO much nicer! Spending all day at Dollywood, didn’t get back to the cabin until late, had to eat, relax, got to bed really late, then to be up, packed and ready to be out by 10am is hard! Hate to end a vacation rushed like that. But everything else was perfect.

See you next Fall!”

- Terri G. in A Bear's Paradise, 11/08/2009

“Overall, the room was nice and clean; however, we have a few suggestions we feel would make the room a little better: an alarm clock would be helpful, the coffee was extremely bitter (and we are “coffee people”); perhaps a different brand would taste better. When we made the reservations, we were given the impression that you were located only 1 ½ block from downtown Gatlinburg; however, the actual “walking” distance was much more. We were a little disappointed with the walk.

Other than these things, we were very pleased with our room. The décor is beautiful, the Jacuzzi and the fireplace were very nice; a very romantic touch for our anniversary. Our room was worth the price paid and we will recommend the Nestle Inn to friends and family. Thank you for the opportunity.”

- Brent C. in M205, 11/07/2009

“We really enjoyed celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at your always and forever cabin. we stayed in another cabin of yours a few years back and this cabin was perfect. the first cabin was too dusty. my wife was sick for a week until she got all the dust out of her system. she has c.o.p.d. always and forever was just the right size with the right amenities we desired. we hope to return to gatlinburg on our 25th anniversary and want so very much to stay at always and forever again. thank you so much for a most memerable time. sincerely,”

- Kenny L. in High Hopes, 11/02/2009

“The cabin was very nice. Only negative was no washer/dryer. Didn't realize that when we booked. Probably will not stay again due to that. Otherwise, we would book with you next trip.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at “As Good As It Gets”…It was very convenient to Dollywood. The house itself was beautiful, with really nice furnishings. We are already planning to try and get it again, next year.

The only two small situations that came up were: 1) The hot water wasn’t quite hot enough, but maintenance got to it very quickly, and then, 2) when we were cleaning up, getting ready to leave, we noticed a small leak under the kitchen sink, at the trap.

Way more positives, than negatives!!!

Best Regards,”

“This is our 4th time staying at Gatlinburg Village Townhouse # T501. We love the perfect location of this unit, and feel right at home!! Only issue is the TV in the downstairs bedroom. It needs replacing...!! We can't wait for Spring to return and do it all again!!

“Thank you for a wonderful time. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves. It is a beautiful cabin and we couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you very much. We have used Baskin Creek off and on for 5 years and you have not let us down yet.

It was outstanding.”

- The Wefers and The Brooks in Cherished Times, 10/27/2009

“We were quite pleased with the cabin. The staff was very friendly and very quick to respond when we had a need. We could not get the shower to run hot water. When we got home that evening, it was fixed, there was a note as to what to do and it worked just fine.

Nicely decorated, very comfortable. The couch was just the right firmness, the carpet was very very soft and cushy. The kitchen had everything you needed. The layout was very nice. The swing, the little table where we ate and of course the hot tub was really wonderful.

My big mistake was reading the little journal where you leave a message for the owner. Was not happy to hear about "scorpions in shoes". Therefore I checked everything and always turned my shoes upside down to make sure we didn't have a little guest.

The hot tub was great! The weather was perfect for it as I get cold easy.”

- Elizabeth M. in Joy Log Cabin, 10/26/2009

“Stay was nice , really liked the lovers lair cabin but i ask for a mountain view and was told it was and then got there and found out it was a woodland view is our only nit pick. but all in all was very pleased.”

“We had a wonderful time. The cabin was almost everything we expected and in many ways much more. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped with amenities, a good location, and had plenty of towels and washcloths. It was certainly a good value for the cost.”

- Karen D. in Biscuits N' Gravy, 10/26/2009

“The cabin was really nice and was clean and ready for me when I got there. The only comment I have is that I specifically asked a reservationist on the Thursday before my arrival if the cabin was equiped with either gas logs or a woodburning fireplace, as your website describes it both ways in different places. Your associate explicitly told me that it was woodburning, so I hauled wood 4 hours and 45 minutes with me to be able to have a fire each night of my 3 night stay, only to arrive to gas logs. That's not so bad, but....on the second day of my stay the propane tank was absolutely dry. I would have expected that would be checked regularly and kept full at all times. Again, that is no big deal either, but taken together that did get a little aggravating. I would suggest that the website be updated and your associates correctly informed as to the amenities for each unit, and that the propane levels be checked as a part of weekly or monthly maintenance checks.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay, and should I decide to visit again, I will of course contact you.

Sincerely,”

“Just wanted to write a brief note to say we enjoyed our stay in the Country Charm chalet. The view was very nice. We certainly would have been able to see more had we been able to get the clouds and rain to leave the area. The shops, Craftsman's Fair, the food, and all points in the Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg area were fun as well. The chalet itself had a nice decor and particularly pleasant were the scripture references and wall plaques as well as having a Bible handy. Thanks and hopefully we can get back your way.”

“I just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our trip and our stay in the Miss Jewel. It was clean and very close to downtown, as described. We walked downtown from the room. The staff was friendly and we would enjoy staying there again. Too bad it was raining our entire trip, but it was nice inside the cabin. We really had a great time and had no complaints. Thanks”

“My wife & I just returned from "At Wild Turkey". We had a very happy experience at the cabin. This was our 20th Anniversary and we wanted make it kinda special and take a cabin in the mountains. We were very pleased to say the least. Our Cabin was spotless and very well appointed. The weather was not so good during our visit as it rained most all of the time. We had a special treat, we were happy to see it snowing on the Mountain as we went over 441 to Cherokee on Saturday. It was special because it snowed the day we were married at the " Chimneys'" 20 years ago. We will be back and rebook the same cabin again next year. Thanks from our hearts for such a great time.”

I would highly recommend this for someone wanting the convenience of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The house is tucked away in a quiet community and the views are incredible. We wanted to do some hiking and was surprised to find we could go right from the house. We will certainly be back!”

“I would like to say that we were very pleased at our stay at your rental cabin. Everything exceeded our expectations. We recieved all information in a timely manner and our arrival and departure was seemless. “We enjoyed the Chalet very much. We have booked it already for Oct. 21, 2010, for 4 nights. Everything was very nice. We did notice that the pots and pan were looking worn out. Lucky that I brought my own large pot for our meatsauce.

Thanks for a really great vacation.”

“Thank you for your e-mail on our stay in Buckhorn Lodge Oct. 8 - Oct. 12. We were six adult couples, ages from early 30's to early 70's, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The house was well laid out and never once did we feel overcrowded. Some thought the driveway was too treacherous but most of us live at sea level and are not used to the mountains. Our one complaint on the clogged bathroom was handled promptly. We couldn't get the fireplace to work but didn't call because it wasn't really needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the lay out worked really well. My husband and I stayed in the dark blue bedroom on the upper level and the bathroom could use a good scrubbing (the toilet, the shower curtain, the woodwork) but no one else complained about their rooms so it may have been just that one. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone. The view from the deck was amazing and enjoyed by all.”

“The condo was a very nice honeymoon spot. I wish i had read the instructions about being advised to make the trip before it was dark. We learned it was extremely hard to find in the fog, rain, and the fact we were going up the mountain!

We liked the fact there was a guest journal for guests to sign..we would have just liked to been able to sign it! The old one has been filled up since March. It was interesting to read.

Overall, we loved it! Thanks!”

“We had a great time, we were having our yearly family trip together and are already thinking about next year with you guys. Although we need three bedroom three bath next year it was a little difficult trying to use restrooms because they were all in the bedrooms. We had plenty of room other than that . My husband and I took the loft and gave our two children and there spouses the bedrooms,so I think we will definitely need the three bath next year! Also we celebrated our grandsons first birthday this year so next year Play Space for him will be good!!! If you have any suggestions let me know? We do not like places that are hard to travel to and must be NICE and clean prefer newer cabins. We also thought that the price was great! We could not have had nicer weather it was beautiful!! “THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO STAY WITH YOU. THIS WAS THE 2ND TIME WE STAYED IN A VIEWTIFUL VISTA. THE VIEW IS FANTASTIC. OUR DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW REALLY ENJOYED IT. OUR DAUGHTER IS IN A WHEEL CHAIR, SO WE HAD TO MAKE THE SWITCH FROM COUNTRY CHARM TO A VIEWTIFUL VISTA. THANKS FOR MAKING THE SWITCH FOR US. WE'LL BE IN TOUCH WHEN WE PLAN TO VISIT AGAIN.”

“Dear Staff at Baskins Creek:
Our reservationist's name was Elizabeth. She was super to work with. I first came into contact with her when we made reservations for June 25th at the Wild Wild West Cabin. It was a wonderful place. And we had the time of our lives. The decor was fantastic! I contacted Elizabeth again when I planned a weekend retreat with my brother and sisters with all of our spouses. We booked the Shenandoah! Now, accomodations don't come any better than that! We checked in on Friday and did not leave until Sunday morning. The kitchen was great and we turned out some sumptuous meals in it! It was a very restful and joyous weekend. I highly recommend both the Wild Wild West and the Shenandoah to anyone looking for a luxurious yet peaceful time! Thank you Elizabeth for all of your help! You were very kind. I look forward to lodging with Baskins Creek in the future.
Thanks again,”

“Jake's Hideaway was great - thank you!”

- Amanda K. in Jakes Hideaway, 09/29/2009

“Our stay was WONDERFUL. The cabin was great, better than what the pictures showed of Angels Landing. We will definately be coming back....hopefully soon. The cabin was also very very close to down town Gatlinburg so we were able to see pretty much everything there. It was very convenient once we located the cabin. Thank you.”

- Kim B. in Angel's Landing, 09/28/2009

“We stayed in Fancy Free and it was beautiful. The only suggestions I have is put a light on the deck with the hot tub and paint the speed bump in Brookstone Village yellow.”

- Kristina S. in Fancy Free, 09/27/2009

“I loved the Chalet, I would return but there is only one main issue that I have

Going into the living room there is a drop down, there needs to be a separation on the carpet. It's not noticeable unless lights are on. Also the upstair's fan didn't work.

But I loved the layout of the Chalet, the peaceful atmosphere.

I found your price to be very fair.”

- Sheila H. in Angel's Landing, 09/23/2009

“Our ladies enjoyed their stay at Reid's Resort. They said it was beautiful. They appreciated the extended check out time! It was a challenge to get 22 ladies out of there on Sunday morning!

On another note, somehow a place mat was taken from the kitchen by mistake. I now have it. Please let me know where to mail it.

Thanks, again for your hospitality. We will keep you in mind for the next time.”

- Brent W. in Reid's Resort, 09/22/2009

“Just wanted to thank the Staff of Baskins Creek Rentals for making our stay again this year a memorable one. The Shanadoah is a lovely home and we found it, once again, to be the perfect place for us to stay.

We look forward to staying with you again in the coming years.

Please thank the owners and extend our appreciation for the use of the pool. As a Pastor, father and grandfather I was priviledged to baptize three members of my family there. These same three will also go through baptism here at church in the coming weeks.

Thank You and God Bless”

“I was very pleased with my choice of the Whispering Pines cabin for our family vacation. It's close enough to the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (both within 3 miles), yet we were situated within the beautiful wooded Smoky Mountains. During the day there's not another human, building, or street in sight. At night it was comfortably dark and quite. And the hot tub was awesome!

Also, we were able to enjoy seclusion from other vacationers - the cabin is all by itself on a lovely, heavily-wooded property. While visiting the area we noticed other lodging that was available, all of which seemed to be multistory and multifamily - I certainly glad we didn't have to listen to other folks running up and down stairways, or having people staying "in the unit above us".

We were very happy with our stay at Whispering Pines, and will return soon!”

- Paladin M. in Whispering Pines, 09/18/2009

“Thank you for a very nice & pleasant stay! The room was very clean and very nicely decorated. We plan many more visits. Hopefully soon!! We were very pleased about how closely everything was to the Gatlinburg strip. We also are interested in leasing a/or this place if anything is open. Thanks for making our honeymoon a place we will never forget!
Thanks Baskins Creek,”

“Your company was great, our stay was wonderful: The townhouse we rented met our needs, there is a need for a fitted sheet for the pull out couch, my son did say it wasn't confortable at all, but still we were close to town so we could just take off and walk instead of driving and trying to find a parking place! Thanks for the email,”

- Vicki W. in T104, 09/09/2009

“Had a very good time at Baskins Creek. Very clean and at a nice location and close to downtown Gatlinburg!”

- Carmita I. in Cottage 101, 09/09/2009

“We stayed at the Robins Nest Cabin and it was everything we expected. It was extremely clean and fresh. The outside surroundings were very peaceful. We very much recommend this cabin to anyone and would not hesitate to stay there again.”

- Vicki M. in Robin's Nest, 09/09/2009

“The cabin was great, clean, it had everything we expected. We would have liked an 8 ft. pool table rather than the 6.5 ft. one. But other than the above everything was lovely, rooms, bathrooms, grill, kitchen, hot tub, view and parking. One more thing I would like to add is that it would be great if in the website one could see the location and the view so one can choose the view, we had a decent mountain view but if I would have been able to choose I might have chosen something even higher up in the mountain.

We had a great time. Thanks. BTW we loved the key code door so we didn’t have to carry keys.”

- Carlos C. in Blue Rhapsody, 09/08/2009

“We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend. We rented the cabin, "Whispering Pines". We were certainly surprised at how remote it really was. It was exciting to travel up the mountain to find our cabin! The cabin was in good condition although I felt it could use some newer carpet and some of the furniture could stand to be replaced. The kitchen was nicely stocked with pans and dishes, etc. so cooking was easy for us. I would definately stay again, maybe bringing grandchildren. We would not come during a holiday again because the traffic between Sevierville and Gatlinburg was so heavy we wasted several hours total sitting in traffic (although nothing could be done about that). Thank you for the great stay!”

- Cindy H. in Whispering Pines, 09/08/2009

“I must say these townhouses are one of the best kept secrets of Gatlinburg. Your within walking distance but not too close to hear the noise and bustle. The place was fantastic!! The place was comfortable, roomy, clean and the mattresses were great for weary travelers to sleep on. 6 men rode their motorcycles down so we could ride “the tail of the dragon” and the best part of the trip is the townhouse. We were able to just kick back relax and enjoy the company and not have to ride our motorcycles to dinner or to shop.

I will definitely rent another townhome from Baskins Creek anytime I or my family comes to Gatlinburg; and highly recommend them to anyone I find interested in going to Gatlinburg!!!

Your FIVE STARS in my book Basins Creek Rentals!!!!

Thank you!”

“Dear Friends at Baskinscreek,

I want you to know I was very pleased with our stay with you! I have stayed with you a few times before, however, I did notice your upgrades in the rooms! I also wanted to say your staff was very pleasant and very helpful. We will be back. I also realized half way home that I failed to tip the housekeeping, please note I will be back and I will make it up to you! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Sincerely,”

“We had the most wonderful time. Angels Landing was incredible.

The only suggestion.....on the day of arrival the dining room lights and one of the living room fans did not work. I called the person on-call but she did not know anything about the house. We never did figure out how them out.....we assumed the bulbs and fan were burnt out.

We so loved our stay and had a wonderful time.

Thank you.........”

“We loved our stay at River song Retreat. It was just right for our group. The beds were comfortable. TV's good, Furnished well. etc.”

- Rick H. in Riversong Retreat, 08/31/2009

“Thank you for asking. We truly enjoyed our trip and our accomadations were absolutly top notch. The kitchen was fabulous and we enjoyed the views from the covered porches. With 9 people and dishes and showers there was not enough hot water at times. Also the Big Screen TV did not come on we could not figure that out but it did not matter we did not watch much TV. we loved it and would visit again. Thank you for all your help with making the arrangments we appreciate all you did. Thank you And have a great day. The Shanondoah Was very nice”

- Jamie R. in Shenandoah, 08/25/2009

“Thank you for the nice email regarding our stay at your hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Nestle Inn room 205, Aug 18th-21st. The room was wonderful! All the accommodations were very comfortable and great! I did have a couple of suggestions for future references.

1. Provide an in-bathroom blow dryer. I had forgotten to pack mine, and assumed that there would be one in the room. We ended up driving to Pigeon Forge to the Walmart and picked one up.

2. Update the TV or include a dvd player already hooked up. We brought our dvd player, however, we needed an extra cable which we didn't have with us to connect to the older TV.

3. Provide daily maid service that is there longer than a couple of hours in the early morning, or provide a place where towels can be picked up and also a dumpster or trash of some kind so that we can empty our own trash. We placed the do not disturb sign on our door so that we wouldn't be disturbed so early in the morning. But we left before noon each day and placed the maid service sign on our door. When we came back that night after hiking and sightseeing, we didn't have maid service at all one of the days. The office closes at 5pm, so there was no one to call to get extra towels that night when we returned.

Other than that, we really did have a great trip! We loved the king-size bed and comforter, and also the jacuzzi!

Thanks again!”

- Deidra S. in M205, 08/21/2009

“Hi, our stay with ya'll was excellent, the room was very clean, not far from the strip, and it was very peaceful. We have recommended your Motel to family and friends. The only thing that was wrong the last night we stayed the plug in by the window we had the camcorder battery charging on went out and the cable went out. besides that it was great.”

- Steven W. in Cottage 102, 08/21/2009

“We had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg. We enjoyed our townhouse. It was clean, within walking distance of town, and had a pool.

We did enjoy not having to keep up with a key but found the door to be somewhat problematic for my younger children.

Other than that the unit was EXACTLY what was promised--a big plus. You had adequate silverware and utensils and the fridge stayed very cold even when packed with food. (We have stayed elsewhere and the fridge always had a hard time keeping up with us. The icemaker kept up too.) Everyone enjoyed being on their own level and the reservationist was right, the kids loved the loft.

The decorations were tasteful and fun.

Overall rating A plus.

Thanks,”

- Cowden Family in T605, 08/17/2009

“Our Cabin was wonderful! Everything we needed was right there. The whole process from making the reservation to the express check in was great! We will be staying with Baskins Creek again!

Thank you!”

- Bethany W. in Wild West, 08/17/2009

“Our stay was terrific. The accommodations were the best we ever had. The decor was magnificent. We really enjoy the skins and stuffed wildlife that was part of the decor. The view was outstanding and the furnishings sure fit the cabin. Our grandkids did miss not having a pool but they enjoyed themselves. The only thing that could have been added was having a gas grill instead of charcoal. We do not use charcoal for grilling out.

We did have a small problem with raccoons. They were able to upon up the door and get into the garbage cans that were stored in the bin. If there were any bears around they would have no trouble getting to the garbage.

Thanks again for the wonderful accommodations.”

- Kathy E. in A Heaven's Blessing, 08/16/2009

“Thank you for the great accomodations that your resort provided for us. My family and I had a tremendous time! I felt as though we truely had a mountain top experience with the Lord himself, since we were so high up on the Mountain. As We witnessed the beauty of Nature all around us, I could feel the loving hands of our Creator in all of it. The overview of the Mountains around us were Breath takinges; espeacially after a particularly hard rain on Tuesday that we experienced. After it rained, smoke came down and filled the tops and shoulders of the Mountains around us. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I knew the handiwork of God was present. As for the Country Charm Cabin itself, It was just that. It had Country Charm. The Cabin was very quaint. The decor was beautiful and had a nice Tennesee, country, down to Earth feeling about it. I would'nt have traded it for anything. It was a true "LOG CABIN" experience, and one of the most memoriable vacations I have yet experienced. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share our experience with you.”

“Hi, we had a great stay at Gatlinburg, TN the cabin "Bear Hugs" was very nice and had most everything we needed. We would love to someday stay there again. I do have a few suggestions for future. The cabin needs a good cleaning. It was very dusty and had lots of spider webs around. You also need to leave better instructions as to how to turn the Hot tub on and off. We could not get it to stop coming on so we left it uncovered. You also need to leave an extra blanket the bed only had one on it and no other in cabin to be found.

Thanks for your everything.”

- Nan T. in Bear Hugs, 08/10/2009

[Unit has been deep cleaned and updated. Thank you for your comments.]

“Our trip to the smokey mountains this past weekend was great! This was our second time staying at the Eagles View. We were a little disappointed that the hot tub was not working and didn't find out until the maintenance guy told us. My suggestion is that you notify the guest of anything that is not in working order before hand.”

- Kimberly M. in Eagle's View, 08/10/2009

[We are sorry your hot tub did not work during your stay. We are currently informing guests of the hot tub problem before they book the unit. Unfortunately the Homeowner does not want to have it repaired at this time. Thank you for your comments.]

“Our cabin was GREAT!!! I was very nervous about our vacation this year because I was afraid we were going to have to stay in a stinky cabin........we all have been on those vacations where the pictures look wonderful......until you arrive and discover the pictures you've been looking at are not pictures of your cabin at all. This cabin was even nicer than the pictures......We were very pleased with our stay.”

“We stayed this week at 403 Baskins Creek Rd. unit 403 (Gatlinburg Townhomes). We loved the layout of the unit and found our stay to be very enjoyable. Did want to make you aware of one thing, however. There is an ant problem in the kitchen of the unit. They ended up on the table, counter, dishwasher and crawling on the wall behind the sink. We were careful to leave all food items in our fridge, but it was kind of gross. We found some spray under the sink and did what we could, but I would suggest you get the unit professionally sprayed. Just wanted to let you know.”

- Jay & Paula S. in T403, 08/07/2009

[The unit has been sprayed. Thank you.]

“"I stayed in Whispering Pines recently and was just so delighted. What a beautiful site to be standing on the deck of the cabin and all you can see are trees, mountains, and sky. Very peaceful and refreshing. To be so close to either Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but feel like you are miles from civilization. I look forward to returning to Whispering Pines soon!”

- Paladin M. in Whispering Pines, 08/06/2009

“My husband and I along with our 6 yr old child stayed in "Wild Turkey" cabin in Tennessee last week. We were truely amazed at how beautiful the cabin was. The internet pictures of the cabin did not do it justice, it was beautiful. The directions to the cabin were so easy to follow and the location was perfect, it was just enough away from downtown to enjoy the mountain view. The cabin was very clean and had enough towels, dishwasher detergent, soap, and garbage bags for the entire stay. We did not have any problems with the cabin at all. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay there. I would recommend new pictures being posted on the net so people can see the real beauty.”

- The Watsons in At Wild Turkey, 08/05/2009

“My family and I absolutely LOVED the Fancy Free cabin. It was very clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable, which provided a good nights rest. Thank you for your hospitality, and we will definitely stay with Baskins Creek again next year.”

- Cheryl W. in Fancy Free, 08/04/2009

“We thoroughly enjoyed the home we rented for our stay, Bears Crossing. It offered lots of room, was clean, neat, and had all we needed to enjoy our visit with our 13 relatives.

It was lovely.

There were two things that needed attended to, but we never got around to letting you know because we were so busy. The ground level tvs were fuzzy. The others were fine…probably a cable hookup issue.

The other was there was a squirrel(?) running throughout the walls of the home. I know critters are a problem, but he woke us up at about 5:30 every morning running here and there throughout the house in the walls, dropping things, etc. You may want to flush him out since he could cause problems and could be related to some of the TV problems since squirrels love to chew cables.

Other than that, the home was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

- Vicki K. in Bears Crossing, 07/30/2009

“We enjoyed our stay and the cabin very much and definetly plan on reserving the "Meagan" again. We had owned our own cabin on a local river and had completely planned our wedding there on the 25th. On the 16th it flooded and completely destroyed everything including the cabin. Everything was a loss. That's what brought us to your cabin. We just couldn't plan another wedding so on the morning of the 25th we were married by the creek , just the two of us, in Gatlinburg, and continued with a wonderful honeymoon. As a bonus, while sitting on the porch of the Meagan we saw a bear on our wedding day and before we left on Monday we saw a momma and her two cubs right at our cabin. We hope to return on our first anniversary if not before. Thank you for helping turn a very rough time into a very positive and wonderful experience after all.”

“We enjoyed our stay at your cabin...it was very inviting, comfy and homey feeling...we went with dear friends and were able to catch up and relax...The only thing i would sugget is hanging your hammock a little further out as it would have been alot more comfortable..We were surprised at how quiet it was with other cabins so close and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery on our many motorcycle trips we made during the week..Thank you again and i think your cabin has started a tradition for our friends and us...Thanks again”

“We wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay this weekend. Everything was perfect and the cottage was beautiful. We loved the unit we stayed in and we plan on visiting you again soon. We try to get up there at least 4 or 5 times a year. We have stayed at a lot of places before but we found that we enjoy staying at Baskins Creek when we come to Gatlinburg because you all are so nice. I'm sorry that I complained last time but this weekend more than made up for that one visit.”

- Jimmy & Parney D. in Honeymoon Lodge 12, 07/20/2009

“Hi, just wanted to let you know we had a great time on our trip to smoky mountains. Our cabin was great and cozy. We just had a few complaints. First off the grill at our cabin(Big Orange Country) needs replaced. It is very dirty and unsanitary to use. We had planned on grilling out but that didn't work out. Also the hot tub lid is awful heavy and broken which makes it too hard for one person to put it back on at nighttime. I think it needs replaced as well. Other than that we enjoyed the cabin especially the Mrs. PacMan game and the pool table.”

- Kim M. in Big Orange Country, 07/20/2009

[The hot tub cover and grill have been replaced. Thank you.]

“We were pleased with the location of the cabin. The cabin was mostly cleaned well, except for dust in a few spots.. We really enjoyed being off the main Parkway and enjoyed the setting. One morning we saw a mother turkey and three little ones walking along close to the cabin. There was quietness, and it was like being in the country with hearing the sounds of the catydids at nighttime and the sounds of different birds early in the morning. The spaciousness of all three levels was appreciated, as well as the jucuzzis, and the large hot tub on the deck. The beds were comfortable . We really wished for an ironing board and didn't get one. The cleaning staff need to be sure to clean the lint filter inside the dryer. It was left packed when we started to use it.This could be a fire hazard.
Renita, the reservationist was very helpful.

We hope to be able to come back again and stay at this cabin. It is beautiful.”

- Elaine and James, Leon and Martha, and Dale and Sheryl in As Good As It Gets, 07/20/2009

“The room and service was wonderful. The only complaint I have would be the air conditioning was remotely controlled. It made it really cold in the room, and caused a sinus infecion. Otherwise great place!!!!”

- Antony C. in Brent B, 07/17/2009

“We loved our stay at the Gatlinburg Village Townhouses. I noticed in the "keepsake" book that it had been mentioned on someone else's stay that the sofa sleeper was broke but it had not been fixed. We were not able to use the sofa sleeper because it was broke.

Also, the dining room chairs all needed to be tightened up. We were afraid that the chairs might break when we sit in them.

We did give this feedback when we checked out so hopefully it has all been fixed now.”

- Lisa H. in T605, 07/14/2009

[All repairs have been made. Thank you for you comments.]

“We very much enjoyed staying at the Nestle Inn. The only thing I would change about the rooms would be steps by the jaquzzi. I almost slipped it was hard stepping out and to the floor.
We stayed in the Charlee Ann. It was nice. Perfect just for the two of us! We loved that we kinda felt in the country even though we was just minutes away from downtown. Next time that we come to Gatlinburg we will be staying at the Nestle Inn again!”

- Angela P. in Charlee Ann, 07/13/2009

“We just arrived back home from our holiday get away in the As Good As It Gets Log Cabin. We love that place! We have stayed there several times now and will continue to request that chalet on our vacations to the mountains. On this stay everything was wonderful, with one exception: The sheets on the middle bed. The elastic is worn on the fitted sheet. To wake up several times a night to stretch the sheet back over the bed, is very tiresome. I do hope you all will look into the situation and request the owners purchase new sheets or if you all take care of the sheets, you will toss those out and replace with new ones.

While reading the visitors note book I read several times that people were asking for more dishes and some chairs on the decks. To really be "As Good As It Gets" a relaxing outside atmosphere would be great.

Again we love this place. Would love to be able to purchase it, however renting it a few times a year will work for us.

Have a blessed day and we look forward to being back it he mountains in October.”

- Roger & Leanne H. in As Good As It Gets, 07/06/2009

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great the price reasonable. If we get the opportunity to visit Gatlinburg again, we will for sure check into renting a space from your company. We were in Townhouse T501. While we were there, we reported a broken shelf in the fridge, a locking problem with the dishwasher, and a slow drain in the main bedroom shower. A repairman came immediately. My only suggestion might be an air freshener of some kind. It was a bit “stuffy” smelling when we first arrived. Other than that, no problems. Thank you!”

- Lisa W. in T501, 07/02/2009

“Our family (5) recently stayed at the Le Rendezvous Chalet up on Ski Mountain. We want to thank Baskins Creek for making our stay perfect as we expected. We originally chose 'Alone At Last' with the understanding that it had a great view of mountains only to find when we arrived that there was absolutely 'no' view of mountains.

When we contacted your office and you changed our cabins, you changed our vacation and gave us complete faith that when something isn't what it's supposed to be, the staff at Baskins Creek will go above and beyond to make it right.

Thank you for the adjustment you made for us. We loved 'Le Rendezvous' and will be booking the same cabin again in the future. You saved our vacation.”

- Mr. & Mrs. Edward R. in Le Rendezvous, 06/27/2009

“We had a really great stay at our hideaway cabin. We hope to come again. We only had one problem the hot tub became milky after 1 day and we could not enjoy it but the rest of the cabin was really great .
See you again next year”

“We enjoyed our stay at Angel's Landing, the only thing was the air condition unit in the lower level was leaking, and it had been leaking before we arrived. There was a real strong musty, mildew smell coming from that room. The maintenance man came out saturday and put something down to try and help the ordor. We were not able to enjoy the game room or the sauna because of the smell. My suggestion is to replace or fix the leaking air condition unit, and to replace the carpet in the game room. As we all know mildew, causes people to become ill, and I wouldn't want that to happen to any one. But besides that I enjoyed, and I will be using Baskinscreek for my vacation reservations in Gatlinburg. Thank You!”

“Hi we stayed at “Riversong Retreat” June 11 – 16. The cabin was beautiful, a real nice view. However, there was no vacuum cleaner or dust pan to clean with. We had 5 children and could have used a vacuum a few times. The directions to the cabin where a little confusing. The street sign should be on the opposite side for the left-hand turn, you cannot see it. It was also a challenge to avoid the trees hanging over the road, as we left there was someone trimming them. The closest pool was a good ways away, and the directions to it seemed confusing as well. Considering this is was the third cabin we were booked into, we didn’t know a lot about the area. You need to make sure that if you are booking cabins that are for sale that the people know it. We got moved to a cabin that was the opposite direction of the main reason we were there, and looked like it needed updates. Overall I would say the cabin and service was nice, but next time would suggest a map be sent of the cabin area for the people that are not familiar with the area, the cabin could use a gas grill, and when booked for 5 days more than 2 dishwasher soaps.”

- Mary P. in Riversong Retreat, 06/20/2009

[We are sorry that you were not able to keep the cabin you had originally booked. We hate having to move a guest and do our best to find a unit comparable to what they had originally booked as possible. Unfortunately because the units are all privately owned we do not always know they are for sale until they sell. Thank you for your comments.]

“Thanks for your email enquiring as to our recent vacation in Heaven's Blessing. Yes, we had a great time. This was our third time renting from your company and the second time we've rented Heaven's Blessing. Your people are great to work with, the instructions clear and easy, we have no complaints with the service and we'll likely rent through you again.”

- Gail & Steve H. in A Heaven's Blessing, 06/17/2009

“Our vacation at Big Orange Country June1- June5 was great. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only problem was the pool sticks had no tip and the King bed in the upper level the mattress was worn. The pictures online did the cabin no justice. In person the cabin was amazing and perfect. It helped my husband and I relax. Even though it rained we were still able to enjoy ourselves.

PS. The only disappointment that I really had was I was not able to see a BEAR in person up in the mountains”

- The Hill Family in Big Orange Country, 06/16/2009

“This is our 3rd time staying at the Little Log Castle" & we have always enjoyed it. The Baskins Creek staff worked with me this time to reschedule our original stay which was to be in April & due to a death in my family we were able to reschedule our vacation date to June. The only (2) things that I can say negative about it was that it was kind of warm during the daytime with the thermostat temperature on 78 & the bedroom carpet could use a good cleaning. Other than that everything was perfect & we will be back.
Thanks!”

- Valerie O. in Little Log Castle, 06/14/2009

[Carpet has been cleaned. Thank you.]

“My wife and I had a great time! The All About Us Cabin was immaculate! Our stay there was a great experience. It was super clean, had more things there than was expected. The jacuzzi was great as was the pool table.Next time we visit Pigeon Forge,we will stay in a Baskins Creek cabin! Thanks for the great stay!”

- Jerald W. in All About Us, 06/05/2009

“We really enojoyed our stay. We stayed two nights in Robins Nest. I loved the stream next to the cabin. We liked that it was so close to town but yet had such seclusions. We had a nightly visitor each night when my husband went out to smoke there was a racoon we nicknamed "rocky". He wasnt afraid of anything. He came both nights so i figure he is a nightly visitor. Never got agressive but loved to pose for pics. We loved the wooden furniture and absolutely LOVED the swing on the deck. It was definately a great visit and we will definatly come back. The only thing that did not work correctly was the jacuzzi tub half of the jets did not work. But the maintnence men were on that as soon as i told them, just wished it was working so we could have enjoyed that too.”

“Enjoyed the stay. Everything was great!”

- Monica in Whispering Pines, 05/29/2009

“Enjoyed the stay nice place. Needs a new grill had to purchase pizza aluminum pan to cover hole in bottom for charcoal, instructions how to operate hot tub posted by hot tub. complete instructions by the alarm for complete operations. P.S. don't own a hot tub or alarm, Mark”

- Mark M. in BrookView, 05/28/2009

“We had a wonderful stay in our cabin. The accommodations were very nice and relaxing which made for a truly delightful honeymoon. My wife and I will definitely recommend Baskins Creek to our friends and family. We look forward to staying with you again in the future. Thank you and may God Bless you and yours.”

- David S. in Heaven Sent, 05/21/2009

“We just wanted you to know that the Wild West cabin was great!...It was very clean and was decorated as you described. The only problem we had was that it showed a gas grill at the cabin, but had a small charcoal grill instead, and we had no charcoal!...However our stay was great and the scenery was beautiful..The directions were right on target, we had no problem locating it. Whoever decorated this one was very good!!..We will be back!!”

“We wanted you to know we truly enjoyed our stay in your cabin and plan on returning again next year. the only problem we had was not being able to get the dvd player to work but that was insignificant compared to the rest of the stay. thanks so much”

- Terry H. in Robin's Nest, 04/06/2009

“Look at a map. Easier way to get to Pigeon Forge than going through G-Burg. Shower is too small (a couple would not fit, and it was our honeymoon). More dishware would be nice. Accomidations were nice: bed, hot tub, sleeper sofa (if you want to bring friends). No disturbances from neighbors looking to party (as we have experienced at other cabins/chalets), like I said, perfect for a couple. Thanks for a great time and plenty of privacy.”

“The cabin was beautiful...We had a wonderful time, we had problem with the cable and also the DVD was not working so we could't watch any movies, that's really the only complain....also my suggestion is that they should have a shovel for winter for the snow, there was so much snow and a shovel would have been so helpful... Renita was a blessing, she was always so helpful, for sure next time we would like for her to be in charge of our reservation again, we are definitely coming back soon...”

“Date of Rental: Check in 02/05/2009 - Check out 03/05/2009 (Yes, 28 wonderful days and nights.)

First, thank you for the firewood. As a consistent renter of Gloria's and Axel's cabin since it was built in 1988, we've been through many management companies and have seen the decline and re-birth of this property. We appreciate the efforts made by both the Roths and Baskins Creek to maintain the facility and protect it from both normal wear and tear and the abuses of those few unruly, disrespectful renter everyone encounters. We have always treated Roth's Place as if it were our own and indeed feel like we are at our second home when there. The problems of last year (mice, the failing rail by the hot tub and broken/missing glasses, etc.) seem to have been handled. We thought there would be a problem when on the morning of day we were to arrive we got a call on my cell about how a frozen pipe had burst and we would be placed in a condo at Wile Oakley and Ski Mountain Road. Your crew apparently worked very fast and we were allowed to go to Roth's around 4:30 PM

Soon it will be time to repair the front stoop and a few planks on the rear deck, but overall, we are quite pleased with the cabin, the towels, bedding (really nice), carpet and furniture. Unlike the Roths, we treat the upstairs bedroom as the master so a TV up there would be a nice touch. So would wireless internet - maybe Chalet Village Owners Club could spread some around the mountain.

In summary, the cabin was in good operating (no broken pipe) and clean condition when we arrived and when we left. Baskins Creek does a friendly and professional job. Thanks.”

“We where very pleased with the cottage. It was just as it looked on your site.It would be very nice if it had a window on the back side where the creek runs so you could hear the creek at night. The only thing i seen wrong was that the air conditioner and heater unit really needs to be cleaned out.”

- Melvin S. in Cottage 102, 03/06/2009

“We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very beautiful, comfy and clean. Upstairs shower pressure was very low, however it did not bother us we just wanted to let you know..Thank you so very much for the special rate you gave us it really helped a whole lot on our money situation. We will be back soon. The Goga's from Loganville Ga.”

- Alcus R. in Cherished Times, 03/06/2009

“I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful stay we had, this past weekend. The unit was clean and the perfect size for our family of 5. It was great that is was not that far from town, yet secluded! Unfortuneately we left one of our DVD's in the DVD player. We assumed that it was gone forever. I made a call to your office, and was told someone would get it and mail it to us. To our complete amazement it arrived in the mail 3 days later. What a pleasant surprise for a company to actually follow through on something as trivial as a DVD. We definitely will be renting from Baskins Creek again next year!”

We spent a lot of our time at the cabin just hanging out and relaxing. It was peaceful and fun too! We wish we could have stayed longer! We would love to stay at one of your rentals again! We heard many compliments from our friends and family when we showed them pictures of the cabin! Thanks for making it a memorable stay!

“We were very satisfied with our first Baskins Creek experience. The booking & check-in/out process was simple & easy and your staff was very helpful. The cabin "Cherished Times" was beautiful, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. It was far enough off the Parkway to feel "away from it all" and yet close enough to be convenient to shopping, dining & shows. We will definitely be back.”

- Marc K. in Cherished Times, 02/19/2009

“I could not print your paper on internet or download a lot of it that is why I called for code for door and directions--or address to put in GPS ...The place was wonderful and I hope to be able to rent with you again....Do you do anything”

- Verna C. in A Bear's Paradise, 02/18/2009

“The cabin was amazing. Well exceeded our expectations. We are definately planning a trip back.

Couple of issues, the jacuzzy in the Main Suite leaks trough the ceiling to bathroom of the room below. I think it is in the pipes.

There was a stray cat that hung around the cabin all weekend. We didn't feed it but it was obvouis that someone had because it didn't go away. Other than that, the everything was fantastic, highly recommend!”

- Justin P. in As Good As It Gets, 02/13/2009

“The unit was very clean and comfy and lovely. The hot tub worked wonderfully, even with snow and ice outside and below freezing temperatures. Loved the pool table/air hockey. The flat screens were a nice touch. The express check in/check out was very convenient. The reservation process was also convenient.

However, I do have a few complaints/concerns. The bed was very small. It was advertised (on your website) as a queen size bed, but as I have a queen at home and sleep on one every night, I am certain that this was only a double. It was still comfortable, but it would have been nice to know what to expect rather than expecting the advertised queen size. Also, the unit was advertised (on your website) to have a jacuzzi inside as well as the hot tub outside. However, when we arrived we found a large tub, but no jets inside the tub. Not a huge issue with us, but as I mentioned above, we were expecting the advertised jacuzzi. Finally, the website also advertised the unit to have a wood fireplace. Therefore, we purchased lots of firewood prior to our arrival rather than buying it there. When we arrived, we discovered that the unit had a gas fireplace. This was better for my allergies so I was pleased, but my husband was rather ticked that he spent money on firewood that we can't use now. So updating the website to reflect these differences might clear up any confusion for future guests.”

“We recently stayed in High Alpine Condo 207 (Nov.7-11 2008) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were apprehensive about staying away from town, but wouldn't have changed the location. We had everything that we needed and a great balcony and view. We had our son and his friend from the University of Al. and our daughter, son in law and 23 mo old grandson and we had plenty of room. We are already talking about booking our stay for next year at the same time.
Thanks for a great vacation

I can't believe we have not done this before ! We usually stay in a motel or campground. This stay has certainly changed our mind about future accomodations. From now on, it will be a cabin !! “Our last trip to the mountain was great. This was our sixth time staying with Baskins Creek Rentals. Everything was wonderful as usual. My husband and I were married 25 years on Oct. 8th. We have been planning a family cruise next May to celebrate our 25th. But we wanted to celebrate just the two of us first. So we decided to came back to the mountains and stay at Nestle Inn once again. We like the quite location of the motel and the easy walk to the parkway. You guys keep up the good work. We hope to see you again sometime next year. I almost forgot a small step would be nice at the end of the whirlpool in M113.”

Wolfs Run : An amazing vacation for the kids & Wife (oh and um , me). I couldnt keep them girls out of the hottub on the deck ! As for the bedroom jacuzzi , let me say that its the perfect size for two grownups ;-). My husband and I rented the unit called Falling Waters. It was a nice, quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed for a nice stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. The jacuzzi was very relaxing. “Last year Sept.2007 my husband I came to Pigeon Forge with my brother and sister-in-law. My husbands brother was waiting for a heart transplant. We stayed at the Brookstone Village (Bird's Nest) Even though Jerry was not doing well physically he said that, if he lived long enough to receive a heart transplant he wanted to go back to Pigeon Forge and stay at the same place.

March 31,2008 Jerry had his heart transplant. We are so glad he made it through the surgery and we had to keep our promise to take him and his wife back to Tenn, This year we stayed at the Wild Wild West. We had a hard time keeping up with Jerry, needless to say we thank God everyday for this wonderful miracle of life he has/ given my husband's brother. Thank you again our vacation was great.”

“The layout of the cabin itself was great, just big enough for two people. We enjoyed playing pool upstairs in the loft, although we did bump our heads a time or two on the exposed beams! The private porch overlooking the small backyard was so peaceful, this was one of my favorite things about this cabin. I love being in the mountains but I don't necessarily like heights, so I was thankful that the driveway was basically flat...this is especially nice when you are trying to back into or out of the driveway in the dark. The location was ideal, just minutes away from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants some peace and quiet.”

- Kim W. in Sweet Temptation, 08/27/2008

“We did not get to get to our cabin till early in the morning. We were given a code so we could go straight in and not have to worry about checking in anywhere. Everything we needed was there. Very clean! We were very pleased! so much so we are coming back in December and using Baskins Creek Cabins! There were plenty of towels and toliet paper! love all the flat screen tv's everywhere too! Awesome!”

- Careese Y. in All About Us, 08/27/2008

“We found the accomodations to match the description on the website and the view of the mountain was just what we wanted. The cabin was clean and fairly easy to find, I would suggest including alternate routes (the back way from Sevierville, and coming up Buckhorn from Gatlinburg rather than on Glades as the road is less curvy). This cabin has a fairly level parking area and is spacious enough for a motorcycle trailer and truck while leaving plenty of parking space for your neighbors. The turn from Charles Lewis Way into the drive/parking area was tight and took some manuevering but nothing too difficult. We recommend this location for any one riding or hauling a bike. I recommended your outfit to a coworker prior to our departure and upon our return found out she had booked a cabin with Baskins Creek that happens to be the cabin that was right next to ours!”

“WOW! What a view! It is the perfect retreat away from the city. The ride to the chalet is quite an adventure but well worth it. The kids were disappointed the pool what not close by and there wasn't really many hiking trails from the chalet. (Or we just did not know about them.) but they managed to still have a blast. Is there a 4 bedroom chalet that is just like this one? My only recomandation is to supply maps and some brouchers of Gatlinburg in each cabin. We were kinda winging it. With the view and privacy? Thank you for making our family vacation one to remember.

“We loved the "Sportsmans Dream." It was very beautiful. It was in a nice location. The only thing we was hoping would be on the site was a place to wash and dry our clothes. That would have been great. Also the balcony door was very complicated to open. It needed some work. But other than that we enjoyed the unit and had a great vacation in the Smokey's. We will recomend Baskin's Creek to anyone we know who is planning to stay in the Smokey's and we will also rent with you again. Thanks!

“We had a really great time while staying in cabin 101.
we did see one bear right by the railing around the pool, and also a ratcoon that kept coming back to get some ham and bread which was very neat for city slickers.
The cabin was clean and neat. The maid did a great job of cleaning while we were out. The only issue we had was the air did not work the first night and most of the second day and it was extremely hot. Other than that we had a great time and plan on returning in the Fall.”

- Robert B. in Cottage 101, 08/20/2008

“This was a fantastic experience for both of us. We had a great honeymoon and hope if God willing to come back every year and stay with you guys in the same cabin. We want to bring our family to the mountains soon, so maybe you can help us then. Look forward to it.

The only problem we had was it was hard to get in contact with the front desk to get our door code and alarm code. But maybe they were having phone problems.

Thanks so much and we hope to see you again.

Other than that it was great! We will most definatly return and recommend you all to our friends & family!!! Thank you for making our vacation comfortable and enjoyable!”

“We had a wonderful time in the cabin. It was perfect for our large family. Really enjoyed the balconies, view and room to spread out. I loved the fact that we didn't have to go to the office to check in and out. All of your customer service representatives were so nice and very professional. One suggestion we have as a family would be to provide a bigger grill to cook on. We will be back. Thanks for everything.”

“We had a wonderful time and the cabin was amazing! We enjoyed all the amenities. The only thing we would change is for the guests to be able to order movies off of the dish network and just make it where it would go on their bill so the owner would not have to pay for it. Because we enjoyed the sight-seeing by day, we like to wind down by watching movies at night. Everything was just wonderful though. Exactly what we were looking for. Both of our families have seen our pictures and now they want to take a big family vacation out there sometime. Thank you for everything. We had an amazing time.”

“My friend and I loved 'Mount Swankarama'! We loved that this cabin was decorated with fun in mind. After looking at cabin after cabin with the same old country look we decided that this cabin, with it's more modern funky style, fit our style more than any other. If I had to give suggestions on making it better....new pool sticks would be nice and internet access would be great for looking up things to do in the area. All in all this is a fabulous cabin and I have already recommended it to all of my friends! We will be back in the future for sure!

It was absolutely awesome. The only thing that was inconvenient was the drive to Gatlinsburg to sign in. It would really have been nice if we could have signed in at pigeon forge. Other than that, It was the best vacation we have ever taken. We would highly reccommend this cabin to everyone!”

Directions to the cabin were easy to follow.

There was some scattered trash around the cabin when we arrived that was reported when checking out. Might have been an animal.

Will consider Baskins Creek on our next trip to Gatlinburg.”

- Karen R. in Bearly Ruffin'It, 07/19/2008

“Everything exceeded our expectations. We searched the internet and sometimes what you see is not what you get. In this case, the pictures did not do the cabin justice. Everything was much, much ,better. You guys impressed us from the start. We arrived late, but had a detailed map and room key code waiting for us. Also, we wanted to stay close to G-burg to get downtown quckly, but far enough away to get away from the city lights/noise. Always and Forever was perfect. The the view was great, from the deck/hot tub, it seemed we were 100 miles from people yet a 4-5 minute drive and we were in the center of town. The kitchen was top notch with all of the thought that went into the accessories, pots, pans, utensiles. Another great idea for you guys was the direct gas connection for the grill...no hot coals to deal with. We made good use of the hot tub while watching the moon rise over the trees every night. We liked the garden tub inside as well. The log book is a great idea. It was fun to read where the other people were from and their take on the cabin and area. We also want to note that everything was very very neat and clean.

The mattress was sooooooo soft and comfortable. We slept great. The only things to report for repair is that the bathroom sink has only a trickle of hot water. The rest of the faucets ran fine hot and cold. I opened the valve all the way and no more water came out. The left speaker on the stereo has a lot of static...most likely a bad wire to the speaker. The lamp by the door will not stay on. It has power but the internals of the switch is not catching. These are very ,very minor and did not take away at all from our wonderful time. After about a day and a half we had already decided to return. As our schedules are very busy we are not sure when we can make it back, but this WILL be the place. You guys/gals made our vacation a great one to remember. Thank you all of the thought you put into this place and for the hard work to keep it this way.

Sincerely, Richard and Brenda...Lexington, Kentucky”

“THE ONLY THING THAT I REALLY THINK COULD MAKE THIS CABIN ANY BETTER IS A LITTLE WIDER DRIVE GOING UP TO THE CABIN. THE REST OF THE STAY WAS GREAT. WITH A LARGE SUV THAT WE DRIVE THE DRIVEWAY WAS REALLY TIGHT FIT.”

“My family and I had a great vacation! Everyone enjoyed the cabin that we stayed at, the location, etc. It is very possible that if we come back to Pigeon Forge we will ask for the same accomodations.

The vacuum cleaners at the house did not work, but that is a minor thing and I think the belt probably was broken on one of them. other then that, there were no other problems.

Express our gratutude and thanks to the owners of this house for the opportunity to use their home away from home.

I was also impress on the names of some of the houses - "The Sanctuary", "john 3:16", etc. Is there any particular reason for these names? I liked the idea.

Have a blessed day.

The only suggestion I would have is to look into offering WIFI internet service to your guest. I noticed that myself and another guest were having to go down the hill to use our laptops. It would have been more convenient to be able to stay in our rooms to do so.

Very enjoyable stay!!”

“I had a wonderful time in the room. It was much bigger than i expected. The private patio was sensational. I've wanted a swing on a porch since I was a little girl so I'm pretty sure i spent most of my time on the swing. I felt welcome, daily housecleaning was definately a plus. and the fireplace (not to mention the heart shaped hottub) was very romantic. The room itself gave us a feel of the Smoky Mountains so wether we were inside or out i felt far from chaos and close to nature. It was a pleasuer coming home to after our long drives and horseback rides. I will most definately return. Thank you guys so much”

We ended up leaving some frozen food (pizza, vegetables) and some other stuff that we had extra (all unopened) for the next tenant.....hopefully that was ok. The views were awesome! “We had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg! We stayed in the Wolf Run cabin and enjoyed every moment! One thing that was great was that this cabin is in "Downtown Gatlinburg" however, also secluded on a side road. We felt like we were out in the woods; but with a very, very short drive we were on Parkway. The cabin was clean, roomy and the beds were very comfortable. My kids loved the loft bedroom. I would highly recommend this cabin and Baskin Creek Rentals. Everytime I called Baskin Creek with questions they were friendly and quick to answer any concerns that I had. The whole process was very easy. All correspondence with Baskin Creek was a good experience. I plan to use Baskin Creek in the future.

This was our year to host the immediate family from El Paso, Tx., Jal, NM and Alberq.NM. There was 13 of us. The cabin was ideal!! Everyone had a great vacation.

Thank you, Baskin Creek.”

- Cheryl D. in A Heaven's Blessing, 06/29/2008

“The cabin was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels, dishes, soap, and other everyday household needs. We had a great time. When we come back to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge we will definetly rent from you again.

The staff at the office was very knowledgable and helpful when we called and/or stopped by. We loved the express check in so we didn't have to make an extra trip to the actual office.

I'm not sure if this is something that you could change but during our week visit we recieved at least 3-4 calls about credit card interest rates, buying a paper, satelite tv..etc. It was a little distracting. Again, I'm not sure if you are in control of that or not, I'm just relaying our concern.

The gas card voucher is a great idea. It would really make us want to come back and use you again because we were refunded our gas cost to get there.

Thanks. :) :)”

“Hey we had a fantastic time! Thank you for allowing my family and I to stay in your cabin.
The Hot tub was great our kids loved it and of course we did aswell., The cabin was very clean and neat! put together very nicely, and the rooms were very comfortable , the fire place was nice. The pool down the mountain was huge, the kids loved it. However the blinds in the bedroom need to be replaced because people can see in both rooms we had bought a sheet to put over the window., the bathroom upstairs my daughter only used she loved it, said it was great, the t.v. remote for the living room did not work even with the batteries but was not a problem, the washer and dryer was awsome I hate bringing dirty clothes home. The smokey Mountains was very cool we had never been in tennessee before so it was nice. Gatlinburg was very busy and pigeonforge I really did not enjoy much myself. But we loved it. Again Thank you.

We did forget my son's wallet in the cabin and it sapost to be mailed c.o.d. we are waiting on that to arrive.

Thank you for the stay.”

“I absolutely loved the view of this cabin. Our only concern was the drive way. It frightened me when we had to pull out. There was a hole at the top of it that was pretty deep and then with the incline, it just scared me. But as far as the cabin and location; it was wonderful! We had a great view of the moutains, and with the hot tub on the back porch it was a beautiful location! Thank you!”

- Josh T. in Dawns Early Light, 06/15/2008

“We really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It is spectacular. It was the right size, the right fit, everything. The only improvement that I could think of is adding a ceiling fan in the bedroom. It gets a little toasty in there, and having a fan would help a lot.”

- Matthew E. in John 15:12, 06/13/2008

“WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS A SLIGHT PROBLEM WAS THE HEAT AND AIR. WHEN THE MAIN FLOOR WAS COMFORTABLE, THE UPSTAIRS WAS TOO HOT AND THE DOWNSTAIRS WAS TOO COLD. WE ONLY SAW ONE THERMOSTAT FOR THE WHOLE CABIN. THIS WAS NOT SOMETHING THAT WE COULD NOT TOLERATE. WE HAD TWO LAMPS THAT WOULD NOT WORK, BUT THAT IS JUST A MINOR THING. WE DID NOT FEEL THIS WAS MAJOR ENOUGH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT; HOWEVER, HAD YOU CALLED US YOURSELF, WE WOULD HAVE MENTIONED IT TO YOU. WE FEEL THAT IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO CALL THE DAY AFTER ARRIVAL TO BE SURE EVERYTHING IS OKAY.

ALL IN ALL, WE HAD A WONDERFUL TRIP AND REALLY ENJOYED THE CABIN. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE STAYED IN THIS SAME CABIN SO THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING.

THANKS,

JERRY AND JUDY N.”

“We spent five enjoyable day's. It was a place that we had looked for for sometime. This will be fifty-three years that we have been married and we have been to a lot of places both in the US and in Europe but we enjoyed staying in Forever Yours very much.

You are to be commended for the cleanness that the cabin was in. Everything was very nice.

We hope that we can come back next year.

“We were very satisfied with the unit. We had stayed at the Cozy Bear about 4 or 5 years ago. The only complaint we had was that the hot water did not work in the upstairs bathtub.

We had a problem with the air conditioning and you responded immediately. Thank you.

The Cozy Bear is a very nice unit and we would stay there again.”

- Bonnie V. in Cozy Bear, 06/06/2008

“The acomidations were very nice. The trash recepitacles on the front porch could not be secured & a raccon got into the trash of which we had to clean up. A light is needed for the stove. Could not see much when cooking on the stove.

We had a very nice stay.

Next year we may be looking at Ski Mountain area.

This was our third stay with Baskins Creek.”

“Our stay was delightful and enjoyed by all. We only experienced minor issues and they were addressed rapidly upon request. We will definitely be returning.”

“We always enjoy our stays with you. The office staff was courteous and very helpful, even making some phone calls for us to find out about the community center so we could keep up with our workouts while on vacation. The rooms are always quite clean and comfortable, and this particular unit's kitchen was a nice bonus, and your pricing takes it easy on a tight budget, yet delivers exceptional value. The location is great--close enough to walk around without searching for/paying for parking somewhere. The one thing we did notice this time but had not at our previous stay was a lot of traffic back and forth in front of our unit, mostly during the day when we tried to regenerate after our morning excursions. I imagine it was the locals, eager to avoid the tourist traffic, but it was a bit annoying at times.

Although some of the units have the jacuzzi tubs, ours did not, and after a long day of walking we really wished we had picked a unit with one (or at least one with access to a hot tub)! We will have to consider that when we schedule a return visit--which we most certainly will.”

“We totally enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. It was very well taken care of and felt very much like we were in someone's home. The only suggestions are minor: kleenex in upstairs bedroom; is it possible to get WiFi in that area?
We hope to come back again for a stay maybe in a larger cabin for a small Family reunion.

A few suggestions though, The outside lights only worked sometimes and when we returned at nite, it was very dark and hard to see to get upstairs. The first bedroom leaked at times when we got rain. There was no sink stopper and could have used more trash bags, but other than that---Great great time.
Thank you,

“This was our second time using Baskins Creek. We last stayed at the Summit and that was fabulous! This time we stayed at Black Bear Lodge simply because we heard that the Summit and Black Bear Lodge were the two of the TOP properties that they had. It was an amazing cabin. We did not want to go out because it was so nice and relaxing there.

There are only two issues I have with the cabin. The first issue is that there are three vertical blinds missing in the master bedroom. We wanted to sleep in but we woke up with the other animals on the mountain when the sun came up. I know, we could have called the office and I am sure that they would have taken care of it, but we kept forgetting. The second issue is one that has been mentioned before ... that frying pan. Scary. Looked like my grandmothers ... the one I remember from childhood. Anyway we think this is one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in with tremendous views and lots of space. We also loved all the care that has been taken in decorating the cabin. Lots and lots of bears. We will definitely be back!”

Our visit was wonderful. The suite was beautiful, very spacious and clean. A home away from home atmosphere. All of the staff members were kind, pleasant and very helpful.

I am planning on visiting at least twice a year to Gatlinburg, and would be more then happy to stay at any of the Baskin Creek accommodation's.

I have already recommend Baskin Creek to several of my friends.

So, I would like to THANK YOU and each and every one of the staff for making our visit so wonderful. And I am looking forward to our next visit.”

THE ONLY SUGGESTION I WOULD HAVE FOR YOU IS THE VIEW FROM THE TWO PICTURE WINDOWS IN THE UP STAIRS BATH ROOM, IF THE TREE TOPS COULD BE TRIMMED SO YOU CAN SEE BETTER VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS,EXSPECIALLY DURNING THE WINTER TIME WHERE YOU COULD SEE THE SNOW ON THE MOUNTAINS WOULD BE SO WONDERFUL. OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING.I PLAN ON STAYIN WITH DURNING CHRISTMAS TIME SO ME AND MY FAMILY CAN DO OUR SHOPPING DOWN THERE.

“All About Us was an absolutely beautiful cabin in a very convenient location! The cabin was clean and well decorated. The flat panel tvs and pool table were very nice touches. What a great way to relax on vacation! We definitely want to come back! If there was only one constructive comment to add would be about the hot tub. We are not that familiar with hot tubs but the water seemed a little too cloudy and sides slightly slick feeling. (but this may be the way it is supposed to be perhaps??)

I way overpacked because we have never stayed in a cabin such as this and I wasnt sure what it included. Only suggestion is that more detail about what appliances are available and that the washer and dryer are there and that it has porch furniture there would be helpful to someone else first time user. “We had a wonderful time while staying at the Nestle Inn. It was for our 17th anniversary and a much needed break from the real world. I can not say enough about how clean and comfortable the room was. Everyone at the Nestle Inn was very accomodating and the nicest staff at any motel we have ever stayed at. From the time we checked in until we checked out, we always felt welcome to be there. The only thing we wish we had there was a small microwave because we both wanted some popcorn one night, but we had Karmelcorn instead, so it all worked out.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a great location and perfect size for our family. We have a small child and really liked the fact that it did not have a huge drop off but was still a nice wooded area view. It was way better to stay in our own cabin instead of a hotel like our last stay. We loved being able to use a door code instead of having to check-in somewhere. That is great! We would recommend this cabin and my only negative comment was that it could have been a little cleaner. For the most part it was, it was just very dusty. My little one is allergic to dust so that is a big thing with us. (under the bed was especially bad) That was the only thing needing improvement and everything else was great. We will definitely use Baskins Creek again and look forward to future stays. Thanks!

“The cabin was very nice, very large, and very clean. We had a great time while we were there. Plan on coming back next year!”

- Donna S. P. in King of the Mountain, 04/09/2008

“We really enjoyed our recent stay at Twist and Shout. It was in a great location with breathtaking views. We were concerned about finding the place because of an earlier review, but we followed the provided directions carefully and arrived without incident.

I do have a few recommendations:]

1) I would list with the cabin amenities that it does have a DVD, washer and dryer, charcoal grill, 3 decks and internet access. These are excellent qualities that we were thrilled to discover on our arrival.

I had called and specifically asked about the grill and dvd, so I knew about the grill, but the cabin is not listed with all the other amenities.

2) We were also thrilled that there was a creek near enough to hear on the decks and in the house with the windows open.

3) There was a lot of trash below the cabin in the woods. This is probably the only real complaint we had. I realize the steep incline behind the cabin makes clean-up difficult, but it is distracting to see the trash, broken bottles and left-over halloween scarecrow below.

Thanks for a memorable vacation and we are already planning our next couples weekend.”

- slong170@comcast.net in Twist & Shout, 04/08/2008

[Thanks for your kind remarks we have added the creek to the web site and apologize for the trash. Maintenance has been sent to pick it up. It always disturbs us locals to find some guests have so little regard for our beautiful mountains and feel it is ok to toss their trash over the balconies instead of using trash cans provided. Mgr]

“The house was in great condition, and we were able to stay there very comfortably. We loved that there were 3 1/2 bathrooms! The kitchen table was large enough for all to gather around. There weren't as many kitchen supplies and utensils available as we had hoped (based on comparisons to other cabins we've rented), but we appreciated what was there. The unit was clean and orderly. We were disappointed to see that the game table was broken and disassembled when we arrived. We had hoped that the kids would keep busy playing air hockey. The table was repaired on Monday without any notice to us that someone would be entering the property, and it was on the day before we checked out. However, we were able to enjoy it for a few hours. All in all, it was a great house to stay in. The road where the house is located is very narrow and dangerous. Fortunately, we never had any issues with traveling up and down the road, although it has several blind spots.

Thanks for offering such a great property! This was our 2nd stay with Baskins Creek Rentals, and it was even smoother this time. The automatic check-in process is fabulous! We appreciated the call on our arrival date which gave us our door code and informed us that the unit was ready. In all the rushing around trying to get ready for our departure, it was nice to know that we didn't have to remember one more thing. Thanks!”

- jlderucki@charter.net in Angel Walk, 04/08/2008

[Thanks for your great comments. Many of our country roads are very narrow and we all use great caution when driving them. When you live here you get use to them but they can be quit scary for visitors. Just go slow and stay well on your side. Mgr]

“We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean.

You should check to be sure that the light bulbs are all replaced when needed, and that all bathroom fixtures(faucets) are tight.

If you could give information on using the long distance feature on the phone at the same time that you give out the door code, that would be helpful.

Thank you for a nice stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was lovely. We had a wonderful get-a-way for two, and plan to return to the area in the future with some more of the family. When we do so, we will very likely use your service again.

Although we were satisfied, things were not perfect (things rarely are), so I do want to mention a few points.

--We had some trouble with the hot tub. It was way too hot but the themometer said it was only 62 degrees. We followed the directions posted on the wall but nothing seemed to work. We called the office and reported the trouble. The woman I spoke with said she would call maintanance to find out if it was something I could fix or if they needed to come out. She said someone would be there either that night or first thing in the morning at the latest but that she would call me back either way to let me know what they said. She never called back. About 10 am the next morning I called the office again to find out if they were coming since we wanted to head out for some activities. I was told they would be out that morning. We came back to the cabin about 2pm and nothing had been done. I called again and talked to Brian who said maintanance would be there in no more than two hours. I called back about 4:30 and Brain said it would be another hour or two, but that they would come that night. A nice young man did come out soon after that and fixed the tub. It didn't take two minutes to turn the temp down and empty some of the water, which we could probably have done ourselved if we had been told to do so. He told us not to pay any attention to the themometer; that they never work. That means the posted intructions are worthless. The problem did get fixed and we were able to use the hot tub, but it seems like a lot of time was wasted.

--For the most part the cabin was very clean and nice, but I had to move the bed out to retrieve the TV remote and it was unbelievably filthy under that bed.

--Your emailed instructions said that check-out was 10am but there is a sign above the kitchen sink that says check-out is 11am.

--Your web site says you have offices in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Your phone tree gives directions to a Pigeon Forge office. But the person I talked to on the phone before we left Indiana said that you have never had Pigeon Forge office and that I had to either check in by phone or come into Gatlinburg. I am still confused by this one!

--It would be nice to have an extra trash bag or two in the cabin. By the second day our little kitchen waste basket was full but we could not find another trash bag to put in it. We had to dump the trash into the outside trash can without it being closed in a bag. No animals got into it, but I was afraid they might. There were a couple extra bathroom-sized bags in the bathroom waste basket but I did not realize that until I took out the trash before checking out.

I don't want you to think we were unhappy, I don't expect perfection, but you can't fix problems if you don't know they exist! So that you don't think I am an old grouch, I am going to comment on a few things that went right!

--Your web site is very easy to maneuver. I liked the fact that I could look at a description of a unit and see the availability and price of that unit all on the same page. This is why you got my business and not one of the other dozens of cabin rental companies with websites.

--It was our first time in the area but we had no trouble finding the cabin, your directions were perfect.

--It was so nice not to have to go all the way into Gatlinburg to check in and check out. Using a coded lock is a great idea.

--The cabin was beautiful! It was wonderfully decorated and the kitchen well stocked. There were appliances and kitchen gadgets that I would not have expected to be there, ie electric can opener, blender, grater, nice dishes and flatware (not just the cheep stuff or miss-matched).

--The guest books are a wonderful little plus. I had a great time reading what past guest had written. Many had returned to that very same cabin many times. Some spent their honeymoons there and then returned for anniversaries. Some had their love re-kindled during their stay. Reading their stories made me feel like I am part of the "Heaven Sent Family". Even my boyfriend enjoyed reading some of them and he is the worlds most unromantic person!

Finally, all of your staff that I have talked to on the phone and the one and only staff person I met in person, were pleasant, polite, and professional. Granted, some were more helpful than others, but all were courtious.

Assuming finances will allow, and Royce's health holds out long enough, we will be back for another visit. It was a wonderful vacation. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Ramona and Royce”

WE WOULD OF LIKED TO OF CHECKED IN A LITTLE EARLIER, MAYBE THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING TO CONSIDER, ALSO DRICTIONS COULD BE JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER WE FOUND A QUICKER ROUTE TO OUR CABIN. BUT IT WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL 3 DAYS WE WILL BE BACK IN SEPTEMBER AND HOPE TO GET THE SOUTHERN PLEASURE CABIN AGAIN. OH YEA THE FLAT SCREEN TVS WERE GREAT AND THE POOL TABLE!!!!!!!!”

“We absolutly loved it.It was small and adorable and very romantic. We had a wonderful honeymoon. Thank you very much.”

“Loved it. Bringing kids back to find some bears hopefully in sept.. and want to stay in same unit if price is same will contact asap.”

“Beyond Expectations and Black Bear Lodge

Both cabins were very nice. Beyond Expectations: loved the open floor plan, nice pool table, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, and nice living room area. Some of the pans were really old and in poor condition (the skillet).

We moved to the Black Bear cabin because additional family members were joining us - I was a little disappointed with the size - for 8 of us it was a bit cozy. The downstairs bathroom cabinet drawers were broken and unable to use. Lighting was dark in the downstairs and the bedrooms were smaller than I expected. Otherwise, we loved the view and the sunroom was great. This cabin had a few more pans and had videos and games which was nice.

Our family enjoyed our trip and our stay very much. A few extra amenities such as garbage bags, dishwasher soap, etc... would have been nice. We would recommend your rental company to others - very nice overall.”

- Deb O' Brien-Goedde in Beyond Expectations, 03/31/2008

[Thanks for letting us know about the pots and pans they were replaced with new ones today. On your next stay always feel free to call the front desk for any issues like this. Also Maintenance has taken care of fixing the Draws at Black Bear Lodge and we agree the view from the sunroom is awesome. Next time please feel free to call the front desk for any needs such as trash bags, soap etc.]

“Great trip! This made our third trip to the Smoky Mountains and it was my favorite accomodation so far. The first trip we spent a week at a hotel in Gatlinburg, it was accually the owners apartment on the top floor. It was very nice and we had plenty of room but the view was just ok. The second trip we had a beautiful cabin but it was located about 12 miles from Gatlinburg which at the time did not seem to be a big deal. This trip I loved the cabin, location and view! I especially enjoyed the 3 levels with 2 children and my mother-in-law we had plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy. The unit had everything we needed with the exception of 3 big bees in the upstairs bedroom. (Time of year)

The accomodations were great and should we decide to visit I would be very happy to contact Baskins Creek to stay. Thanks so much!

Have a great summer.”

- Kay L. in Country Charm, 03/28/2008

“Our stay at the chalet was great. We like the location since most of the time we were in Pigeon Forge. The only suggestions we have was that we needed extra blankets since we only had the quilts on the beds. When it's in the 20's & 30's it gets quite chilly in the evenings. Also, the pillows were quite flat and we had to go buy others. But other than that all in all would recommend staying there to others.

Thank you

Kim Lynch”

- Paul L. in Abundantly Blessed, 03/28/2008

[Next time please call the front desk housekeeping would gladly have brought you new pillows and brought you blankets should there not be any in the closets.]

“The cabin was wonderful as usual and you can count on my family and I renting from you every time we come to Gatlinburg(twice a year)

We introduced our friends to your cabins on this past stay and they will be staying with you as well.

Thanks for a wonderful and beautiful stay.

“We really enjoyed the cabin. The accommodations were unreal. The staff was very helpful when making the reservation as well. Thank you.”

- Pam and Zac C. in Wild West, 03/26/2008

“We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. The accomodations were awesome and the only complaint we might have would be that some of the mattresses were worn (particularly in the King bedrooms). But all in all we had a great time and will be back again. Thanks!”

- Carie S. in Big Orange Country, 03/25/2008

“We had a swell time, everything was real nice,we loved the master bedroom. The service was good,Also the accommodations,We will be back.Loretta Tucker”

- loretta t. in Honeytree Hideaway, 03/25/2008

“Your Inn was quite nice. It was a nice, remote location from the main strip of Gatlinburg. The front desk workers were kind and helpful. The room was nice, decently kept, and perfectly nice for a week long stay.”

- Michale R. in M110, 03/23/2008

“We loved the cabin, and we really enjoyed our stay. Here are the items we loved:

1. Washer/dryer - came in handy after a wet hike.
2. Gas logs - loved that we did not have to fool with making a fire.
3. King beds - our 2 boys shared this bed and there was plenty of room.
4. Dishwasher - many cabins we have stayed in before did not have one.
5. Jacuzzi - we've only had indoor ones.
6. Pool Table - provided many hours of fun.
7. Movies - we watched several of the provided movies.

Here are the items that we suggest for improvement:
1. Better instructions on how to use the hot tub. We had a hard time figuring out how to turn it off.
2. Separate Direct TV received in master bedroom to allow someone to watch TV at night in bed as others are still watching TV in the living room or ability to play DVDs in
3. Large pan to cook items like soup or boil pasta or corn.”

- Stephanie C. in A Little Something Special, 03/20/2008

[Jacuzzi's are inside and most hot tubs are outside. We do have a few units with indoor hot tubs. Mgmt. We passed your suggestions on to the owners.]

“It was an older cabin but very nice. The only thing I didn't like is having to walk around to the jacuzzi but otherwise it was great.”

- Paul G. in Bear Paws, 03/18/2008

“This place was great. we had a blast.”

- Rebecca S. in All About Us, 03/17/2008

“We loved it. It was very clean and neat. The hot tub was also clean and already hot for us. We will stay in one of your cabins again. The cabin was beautiful. The area was also nice and quite. We enjoyed our stay very much. We are already trying to plan another trip for the summer. Thank you for providing a wonderful place for us to stay. We would not have enjoyed our trip as much if we had stayed in a hotel or some where else.”

- Brittney D. in Little Log Castle, 03/17/2008

“The room was very clean, and was keeped cleaned by house keeping.. very comfortable room and the bed was also .. good size bath.. good location.. we will be coming back as we have done in the past, or maybe one of your cabins , again .. we have stayed in both before..... thanks T.G.”

[We love returning guests; come stay and see why people just keep comming back; Location, location, location]

“I was very pleased with the cabin. It had everything that I needed and then some. I received a phone call about 2 hours prior to 4pm giving me my door code, which was very courteous. The person who made my reservation and the one who called to give me my code were both very pleasant and helpful. I especially like the fact that you do not have to go somewhere to officially check in and you do not have to keep up with a key. I would definitely use your services again. Thanks!”

- Amelia P. in American Charm, 03/06/2008

“We had a delightful weekend and the view from Bear Ridge was truly spectacular. We found the accomodations to be a good fit for our group and since the weather was wonderful we made great use of all the decks and hot tub.

The only thing I might suggest is to add some type of baking sheet or pizza pad and a couple of sharp knives, other than that we found most every thing that we needed.

The ease of check-in via the telephone was great. We took your advise and made a preliminary trip up the mountain to locate our cabin so that when it was time to check in we knew exactly where we were going.

Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend and we will keep you in mind for our next trip.

sincerely,
The M. and T.”

- Michael M. in Bear Ridge, 03/06/2008

[Thanks for letting us know about missing kithen items housekeeping has added them.]

“Everything was good except the checkout time was a little early and the check in time a little late.”

- Brett S. in Wolf Run, 03/05/2008

[Next time feel free to ask for a later check out time, unless we have an arrival we will be happy to accommodate. Call prior to arrival , often times the cabin may be ready and you can check in as early as 1:00 PM]

“Our recent stay at the townhouse was extremely pleasant. We felt so at home we did not want to leave. The only suggestion I would make is for you guys to put cleaning tools "broom & dust pan" in the townhouse for cleaning purposes during the stay. Other than that it was a great stay, my girlfriend liked it so well she wants to come back for her birthday instead of going to Disney World!!”

- David T. in T104, 03/05/2008

“My stay was outstanding.”

- Jason G in M115, 03/04/2008

“The cabin was beautful the hot tub i feel should be enclosed on the porch the king size bed in the room is a little to big but the stay was great better directions to cabin ( i,e, signs at turns ) longer timer on fire place”

- robert h. in American Charm, 03/03/2008

[Thank you for your comments we will doulble check our directions and let the owner know about the hot tub.]

“We totally enjoyed the whole trip. the cabin was very easy to find and was amazing. we had a great time. thank you so much. we will be back.

- Amelia L. in Ann's Place, 03/02/2008

“Overall we really enjoyed it. There are a few things that would have made it an outstanding stay. Speaking from past experience with my own high speed internet, I think you should have a dedicated cable just for the internet. When splitting the incoming signal you will never be able to get online. I had to disconnect the incoming cable and plug it directly into the modem to be able to get online.

We did not realize until our last night that the hot water heater was either slow in recovering from one previous bath or that it possibly does not have the capacity to fill the tub with enough hot water to cover the jacuzzi jets to be able to enjoy that feature of the cabin.

The internet is not a problem for me but I will definitely be checking on the hot water heater before I rent another cabin from anyone.”

- Shawn W in Ann's Place, 03/02/2008

[We have notified the cabins owner and he will look into a new larger water heater.]

“The cabin was nice and cozy. We enjoyed our stay there and would for sure stay there again.

Thanks alot!”

- Heather D. in Hearts Desire, 02/27/2008

“We loved it ! It was very clean & quite. It was not too far away from town either. One thing that we needed though was more bath towels and wash cloths. Having the hot tub and jacuzzie, we really needed more towels and washcloths. But, we made do with what we had. Other than that, it was wonderful. We were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. What an anniversary it was! One we will talk about for years to come. Thanks!”

- Lamar B. in Forever Yours, 02/26/2008

“We really had a wonderful time over the weekend vacationing with Baskin Creek. The cabin was nice, neat and very clean. It was very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home.... Thanks again for the wonderful trip that you provided us with.”

- Tashicka J. in A Little Something Special, 02/25/2008

“WE LOVED THE CABIN!!! THE ONLY ISSUE WITHT HE CABIN WAS THAT THE FAUCET IN THE UPSTAIRS BATH ON THE HOT WATER WOULD NOT SHUT OFF THIS VACATION WAS A MOMS GETAWAY. THIS CABIN OFFERED US TIME AWAY FOR RELAXATION, FUN AND SHOPPING. THIS CABIN WAS UP TO OUR EXPECTATIONS.

WE LIKE THE FUN ATMOSPHERE OF THIS CABIN. IT ALLOWED US TO CUT LOSE AND HAVE FUN FUN FUN !!! THE ONLY THING IT WAS LACKING WAS INTERNET......... GOOD SUGGESTION TO ADD FOR THE UPSTAIRS LOFT SITTING AREA.

WE GET AWAY AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR AND TRY FOR TWICE. WE WILL BE COMING BACK TO THE AREA AND WOULD LOVE TO STAY WITH YALL AGAIN.

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN MAKING OUR VACATION STRESS FREE”

“Accommodations were great we stayed in your home (twist and shout) it was a nice home, Check in and out was easy and nice, not having to make stops. Had a hard time finding place maybe directions could have been better, we need to learn to follow them not sure which. We called for help everyone was helpfull, thank you, if we come to the Smokies we will think of you first.”

“THE CABIN WAS EVERYTHING THAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ME AND MY FAMILY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME.”

- Charmaine J. in Angel Walk, 02/16/2008

“We absolutely loved it! There was a beautiful view and the cabin was nice as well. Only concern was that the floors in the living room were dirty under the furniture and around the kitchen table. There were also several wasps in the master bedroom that we could not get rid of. Other than those minor concerns it was great. We will definitely be back.”

- Hannah O. in A Bird House, 02/13/2008

“We really loved the cabin. It was nice and clean and very comfortable. The only problem we had was the Dish Network service was cut off our last day there, like the bill had not been paid. It was a small inconvenience but that was our only complaint. We really did love everything about it and plan on staying with you guys again.”

- Justin C. in American Dream, 02/11/2008

“This place was great, the best one we stayed in yet.”

- Darlene F. in Swank-A-Rama, 02/09/2008

“We had a wonderful time. The view from the cabin was breath taking. You guys should include the view from the back deck over looking the mountains in your show of the cabin for booking. It was a wonderful surprise, but it could be a good selling point for others looking for a cabin to stay in.

We would be very intrested in staying there next year when we come. We come every year in February with our family. Which includes 12 of us. Each couple had their own bathroom also which was also great. We will recomend you to all our friends, espically the larger groups.”

- Arlene L. in Buckhorn Lodge, 02/05/2008

[Actually there are numerious picture of the views from Buckhorn Lodge on their website and we agree they are amazing views.]

“I enjoyed our stay at American Spirit, I just wished we could of stayed longer!! As soon as we walked in I immediately suggested staying for a while. Everything was so beautiful, the cabin itself, the view, everything. I would love to come back, only thing I was scared of was this time of year while we were traveling up the mountains with bad weather. I would consider staying here again.”

- Amber H. in American Spirit, 02/04/2008

“We have stayed at your inn and also in one of the cabins every time we have come to Gatlinburg. We have always enjoyed our stay and also the close walk to the main street in Gatlinburg. Thank you for a great trip this time.”

- Jenny K. in M112, 01/23/2008

“We had a fantastic experience & would love to come back!”

- Lindsey H. in A Bird House, 01/22/2008

“There are a few kitchen utensils that I would reccomend providing such as: pizza pan, pizza cutter, or a cookie sheet. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early, forfeiting our 'free' night! We do want to return! We had a lovely, relaxing time and it really was an "Awesome View"! Thank you for all that you provide to make everyone feel so welcome!”

- Karen D. in Awesome View, 01/22/2008

“For the price we paid we wish our room would have had a mircowave and hair dryer like most hotel rooms, but overall we were very pleased with our stay and cant wait to come back.”

- Ashley H. in M115, 01/22/2008

“We had a wonderful experience. The cabin was beautiful, spacious without a lot of clutter. It more than met out expectations. In fact I plan on trying to make reservations for Thanksgiving soon. Thank you for a great vacation. We made some great memories.”

- Fran S. in Angel Walk, 01/22/2008

“We had a wonderful stay on New Years Eve. Nice room, loved the porch swing and the fire place. Convenient to down town yet back out of the crowd. Very good customer service, polite and efficient staff. Will stay there again and have recommended you to friends and family. Have also posted good reviews on the trip advisor.”

- Lisa S. in M206, 01/13/2008

“We enjoyed our stay with you very much. We came into town on Friday and got married on Saturday. Everything about the cabin was better than we expected. It was very clean and we loved it!!!!

Your staff was very professional and helpful, too. We will definitely stay with you again!!!!

Do you have any vacancies for the upcoming car show in the fall of 2008???? I would appreciate it if you could let me know!!! Thanks again for the wonderful experience!!!”

- Lydia G. in Tranquility, 01/02/2008

“We really enjoyed our stay, the Townhouse had everything we needed. A lot of room, good kitchen space and living space. We hope to be there again, same time same place next year.”

- Rita M. in T304, 12/20/2007

“We stayed in Lovers Lair over the weekend (12/6-12/9) and really enjoyed it. The hot tub cover needs replacing or repairing, we didn't get in it because of the hole in the top (we're a bit germ-a-phobic, I wiped down the jacuzzi with clorox wipes lol). The game room was fun. My only real complaint, and it isn't even that big of one, the mattress could either use a good flip or replacing. It's worn in the middle and made my husband's back hurt and my neck hurt. Other than that, great decor, beautiful surroundings. We hated to leave, we wanted to stay and relax longer!! Thank you for making our honeymoon so great”

- Amanda E. in Lovers Lair, 12/10/2007

[A new hot tub cover was ordered and the mattress replaced shortly after guest emailed us. - Manager]

“We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and it was so clean and cozy. I greatly appreciated the express check-in and all staff that I have interacted with have been super helpful and friendly. The only thing I saw needing improvement was the pool table. The pool table was in poor shape and that greatly impacted the games being played on it.”

- Heather H., 12/10/2007

“My wife and I had a great time, we have NO complaints and had NO problems. The staff was very friendly. The only suggestion I have is for you to send out a e-mail to previous guest on specials that you are running on the rooms and cabins and also different events that are going on in the smokey mountain area... my wife are looking forward to our next vacation... Thanks again.”

- Johnny F., 12/05/2007

“We really appreciated our stay in "The Breeze" cabin. It was nice to have simple things like paper towels and toilet paper. The cabin was great. There were 4 adults and 2 toddlers that stayed during our visit. We did find a couple things that were not as we thought they were going to be- 1) the instructions for getting in the door stated that there were 2 doorknobs (there was only one), 2) we were supposed to call on the phone in the cabin when we arrived and when we were checking out (the phone did not work). We tried the fireplace, but decided that the heat upstairs from the fire shut down the thermostat, so that the downstairs was cold. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit- thanks!!!”

- Nancy P. in A Breeze, 12/04/2007

“Our stay was great, don't know of anything that would have made it any better. Will recommend your cabins to anyone that asks about our stay. Thank you for providing us with a relaxing weekend.”

- Jason B. in Sweet Surrender - Village Str 165, 12/04/2007

“I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your King of the Mountain chalet. It was very nice and accommodated my group of 16 very nicely. We loved the fact that it was so spread out so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The beauty of King of the Mountain being tucked away by itself was another perk about the cabin. We felt like we were out in the woods with no one else around.

Again, can't say enough about how perfect the cabin fit my group. We had a great time and I'm sure we'll be back.”

- Tiffany D. in King of the Mountain, 12/04/2007

“We’ve been to Gatlinburg several times but this trip, and this cabin, took the cake. We were so comfortable here; it felt just like home. We were so excited to see the Christmas tree and decorations! The whole place is fantastic. Thanks for everything!
